I don't expect an outright gun ban. It will be much more incremental than that, and like has already been proven, these regulations will be at the state level. Like California for instance, several jurisdictions have made it mandatory to issue restraining orders in even the most amicable divorce cases. They must immediately surrender any firearms. Getting them back takes months. I'm sure you know of the situation in the states with registration of rifles that look like military rifles. How about the unreasonable restrictions on magazine capacities in some states. Washington just passed UBC's which require registration to be enforced. There is no reason to believe that these state level regulations won't continue to get more aggressive.
I do not pay attention to State laws on gun control, since I live in a State that is loosening regulations not making them stiffer. This is what happens when States determine their own rules and regulations, State Rights can be a double edged sword. I would suggest doing what you can to change those who are running your State if you feel they are no doing the right thing, or moving to a State that still believes in a persons rights under the Constitution.
I encourage you to make them claw them from your cold dead hands. Don't give them up under any circumstances.
"Our main agenda is to have all guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn't matter if you have to distort the facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed." Sara Brady Chairman, Handgun Control Inc, to Senator Howard Metzenbaum The National Educator, January 1994, Page 3. "If you wish the sympathy of the broad masses, you must tell them the crudest and most stupid things." Author unknown. "This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!" Adolph Hitler Chancellor, Germany, 1933 support Hitler much?
.
One liberal congress woman is going to take all of the guns away, is fear mongering and paranoia. what, is this woman queen of america,in ur own mind.
Proving that your blanket, end all be all statements are incorrect. If this is due to you being ignorent of the claims you are making, or just being plain sloppy in your word choice, it doesn't matter.
And she has said she will never give up on proposing new anti gun legislation. Her bills seem to find many sponsors and supporters in the house and senate. Some states are already incrementally chiseling away at gun owners rights. A couple of more mass shootings like Sandy Hook could change the views of those that are on the fence about the issue. That could be really bad for the pro firearm crowd. We have some pretty old folks on the Supreme court. Likely there will be some appointments in the next administration. That also could spell disaster if Hillary is the one making the appointments.
The day we roll over and hand them our guns, is the day gun control worked and the Constitution is dead.
One liberal congress woman is going to take all of the guns away, is fear mongering and paranoia. what, is this woman queen of america,in ur own mind.
She is Senior Senator NOT a Congresswoman. In our republican representative government, she holds the 2nd most powerful political position in the country. This is not a nobody. She wants to take guns. Gun control nuts can't even admit that there are people who want to take guns. Gun owners are just sick of these lies.
It is not a Liberal Progressive plan. It is a One World Government plan. In the New World Order, the World Government cannot tolerate dissension, especially from people who think they have rights and protections. It is not about "The People" anymore. It is about "The Government" and the powers it has over the people.
You'd be wrong, there are some Democrats that don't want to take all you guns NOW, but they still want them...
