LOL. C'mon EggKiller, you understand me perfectly well. They can take some of your guns, but they can't take all of them. I'm sure the citizens of CT have plenty of options available. The government will never be able to take all our guns without a repeal of the 2nd Amendment. I don't see that happening.

I'm in Northern Nevada. It's certainly hot, but it's not Vegas hot. We have our 100 degree days, but it's usually in the mid 90s. Lake Tahoe is less than an hour away. Winter sports heaven.

"IF" is a long shot. There are not as many liberals as it seems. One of the Alinsky tactics is to make it seem like there are more of you than there are. Liberals are just more vocal. Republicans won historically in the mid terms. That was not an accident. People are starting to reject liberal ideology. This is why they are so desperate and have to resort to identity politics.

 

I don't see anybody talking about gun confiscation except conservatives. Show me some of the democrats you think want to send someone to your house to take your guns away.

Politics in the United States have been swinging like a pendulum in slow motion between conservationism and liberalism for at least 150 years. The situation is self correcting. Whenever either the far left or the far right gains enough political power to attempt to move the entire country in their direction they inevitably over step, the American people turn away, and the pendulum begins to slowly change directions and starts moving in the other direction.

There will always be people at the extreme fringes of either the radical left or the radical right who may resort to violence, but such actions have almost always been counter productive for their cause. The most recent example is the young man filled with hate who decided to take matters into his own hands in order "to start a race war". The reaction of both liberals and conservatives alike was condemnation of his actions and a call for peace and mutual understanding.

I don't know about you, but I trust the character and good sense of the American people.
