Bristol Palin pregnant: Sarah Palin's daughter expecting second child

I'm no fan of Palin (she lost my vote for McCain in '08 ), but picking on her daughter won't make me like her less. Bristol's having another baby. So what?

 

I don't get why people act like anyone cares about her daughter. It has nothing to do with her daughter. It's Sarah preaching to other families about how to raise their children, what kind of sex education to teach their children, what kind of medication their children have access to, to prevent pregnancies, etc, etc... and then her own child is having premarital sex and now on her second child. Pretty much Bristol is the face of reality and Sarah is the face of a power hungry monster that wants to control other peoples lives... like most conservatives.

When I said nobody would know if one of the current daughters got pregnant, someone hysterically yelled, "Of course we would know."

I guess they expect 0bama to stand on the lawn and announce again that there will be no punishment for a baby.

Sure there is. It's a reminder to everyone that conservatives are all talk. If they can't even get their own children to follow their rules, why are they trying to force other families to. It's the bigger picture, very few people actually care about Bristol being pregnant, but the message it sends to the country about conservatives is a great one. When you are a proponent of forcing other people to live by your rules based on your religion, you better be able to demonstrate it working in your own household. Otherwise it looks ridiculous. Which Sarah Palin does. Just like the Duggars.

I don't know, do you? Who cares? That's the point you rest your case on? So what if she said one thing and did another. She has to face her own set of facts as we all do. The difference is she won't be sucking off the government tit. She'll live with the consequences rather than popping out babies just to get a raise in pay. I can handle the former, while I hold little respect for the latter.

I believe they are only interested in getting paid for having kids with no fathers.

 

She talked about the need for abstinence because there are consequences. Well, she is paying for her situation. She doesn't expect the government to provide everything.

I don't much care what she gives talks about. And Democrats usually don't speak about such things because they don't want to be held to a standard. For instance, cheating on spouses isn't a wrong thing to do for Democrats, they rarely speak out against it. Why? Because they don't want to be held accountable.

Palin spoke out AND held herself accountable. She didn't kill her baby just so liberals wouldn't hound her yet again or because it made life inconvenient.

But if her mother hadn't been governor with money, there's a very good chance she would have been applying for government assistance. It's all relative, according to your circumstances.

 

The only reason she isn't sucking off the government teat, is because her mother takes care of everything, who used to be a part time governor. So she got lucky. Many, are not so lucky.

 

Again, when have you seen mothers from the Left, who have children out of wed-lock, then make money preaching abstinence, then have more out of wedlock babies?

It's all about the family values brand, that's what. And the whole Palin family just keeps dropping daisy cutters on that whole Republican platform. That's why Sarah's FOX contract wasn't renewed. She's systematically taking the party to the lowest depths of the sewage pond, with all of her and Bristol's antics of hypocrisy, ignorance, and nonsensical rants, most people couldn't understand if their life depended on it. The whole family is a laughing stock and now the Right is paying a big price for cuddling up to a bunch of losers.
