Educated Americans would have spelled it sweetie. You don't capitalize. It isn't a proper noun.
By all means, school me regarding American politics.

The first home my husband and I bought was in McDonough.
Henry county did not do a good job managing growth, development, and road infrastructure. 75...my gawd. We used to call the Hudson Bridge exit the Bermuda Triangle.
The southwest metro area has managed growth and infrastructure exceedlingly better.
The world changes. I love my Galaxy 5, central heat n air, Netflix, pharmaceuticals, Ebay, fast food...
The elderly frequently overestimate their generation and importance.

Who cares? Two more months of Bush and this country would have been lost forever, along with every lame ideology you hold so dear. Obama saved our arses. Literally.

Maybe everybody should have friends like Wright and Ayers.

Thanks weird named Canadian dude for putting my English and American proper pet name usage right.
What on earth would Americans do without you Canadians?

    "Our?"
    No nationality in your profile.
Daying two more months of Bush would have caused America to be forever lost is so... worthy of some Marshall Mathers poetry.

Sadly. We don't have intelligent voters in America as this person will be the sure thing to make Hillary become the national leaders.

You remark regarding the intellect of US voters and butcher English grammar and vocabulary with great mastery.
The US is indeed full of stupid, but it is also packed with genius. How many stupid people do you think Bill Gates, Henry Ford, Sam Walton compensate for?

That is the point, I do not think my generation or subsequent generations has done much for the country as a whole outside of mooch from it.

If JFK today said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country," he would be laughed out of the building, county, state and probably the country.

They invented the PC, IPhone, Google, Viagra.
Invention, technology, that is what the younger generation gave you and country. Using technology your youth made possible to you to criticize them confounds me.
I have the most amazing three kids. Oldest with Asperger's and a photographic memory. He is my firstborn and my gawd bringing him up has not been without challenge. He could be the most successful statistician ever. Gawd he loves sports stats and is very good at fantasy football. 14 year old daughter does something with bit torrents on my laptop so I can access any media I want (with her assistance). She is an incredible artist. Quicker wit than mine, curious, inquisitive, probably gay. 11 year old is a bubbly cheerleader, popular. So silly, sweet.
My folks were hippies, my grandfather played the harmonica, one of 19 kids. Never complained, worked into his 80's.
They were all contributors. They were/are teachers. I have so much faith and confidence in America's youth. I also have great reverence and appreciation for my roots, my elders.

It's not the technology or the ease and comfort brought to us by the younger generations. I started off stating my generation and subsequent ones. I do think patriotism and love of country is way down and I doubt many would be willing to defend her. I think the national debt which was 269 billion when I was born, now over 18 trillion is the seeds of this nation's destruction.

But it is not just physical things or ease of life things. Its things that one can not see, but feel. Its things that are hard for me to put into words, but the debt is for real. The I want mine now and not worrying about the future generations is here and real. Let's just say the reasons I feel when I die this country will be far worst off than when I entered has little or nothing to do with technology. It has more to do with feelings, values, willingness, trust, love even. It is hard to put into words. But that feeling is there inside me.

Lighten up. Tongue in cheek. I doubt seriously if I will have a chance to vote for candidate of choice. (Gilmore) All I know for sure is it will not be a vote for a Clinton or a Bush.

It is a shame that you have never been farther than NY or more south than Orlando. You need to embrace more of your parents and grandparents adventurism and jump in the van or whatever and discover this country. Go to Mesa Az. and visit downtown for sculptures scattered throughout the area or go to Tombstone for a fun day visiting the OK Corral and "boot hill" or Sedona Arizona for some breathtaking beauty and head north to the Grand Canyon so you can measure your importance in the universe. Inner tube down the Colorado river or ride the rapids. Take Route 66 and see old Americana with it's narrow roads and interesting towns like Oatman Az. where the donkeys rhave the right of way in the streets or go into Las Vegas with all it's glitzy lights and some of the best food around. Head up to Ryolite Nv. with it's ghost town but art works like the "last supper' carvings or the "bottle house". Head into California and visit "Death Valley and "Scotty's Castle. Visit Lake Tahoe for more wonderful scenery. Utah and New Mexico have some wonderful national parks and Indian ruins. Closer to your home I have found St. Augustine Fla. one of the most interesting towns in America, take a schooner cruise at sunset in Key West (find the Hogfish Grill on Stock Island for a taste of what it was like when Hemingway lived there) , tour behind the scenes of the Daytona Race Track, the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Savanna is a classic, the Battery in Charleston and its row of delightful homes. America is a great place, now go discover it.

    Awesome post. Thank you, sincerely.
I married my highschool sweetheart at 19. We will celebrate 20 years this year. While we were in college I got preggo. I was the designated driver in PCB, Fl on ny 21 birthday. I schit you not. Before we had our oldest my husband got his degree in business management and a good job in logistics. I left college to be a stay at home mom. Three kids. Never a day in daycare. I was theur room mom, PTO prez, playgroup host, cheerleading coach, family dinner around the table at 5. I'm so grateful I had that opportunity. A family of five on one income makes a lot of travel difficult financially. We traveled locally because of expense. I wouldn't have changed a thing though. My baby starts middle school in a few days:) I went back to college in the spring for nursing after a 20 year hiatus. I hope our family can see more of the world after I graduate.
My husband is a UGA alumni and Georgia boy. Of course we have toured Daytona! Jr. fan all the way!
Again, I cannot express my appreciation enough for your post.
I have been to Colorado. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The landscape is soooo different from the southeast. But Georgia pines will forever be home. I absolutely love this place.

    You're a democrat, right?

There is no physical evidence that Trump was anything but a liberal democrat before 2008. Not even sure why Republican voters are taking him seriously.

    - - - Updated - - -

I don't want any democrat to become President. that's why I was against Obama, and am now against Hillary and Trump. All are democrats.

I'm not against Trump due to the fact that he's a businessman. I'm against him because before Hillary lost the dem nomination in 2008, there is no physical evidence that Trump was anything but a liberal democrat. Heck, he donated to Hillary for President in the 2008 election cycle.

    Trump isn't even an actor.

Donald Trump Is A Good Man --- bring him on! new

Don't let any media so and so tell us Trump should not be a candidate. What a load of BS.

"The American Legislative Exchange Council Party is being represented by former Florida governor Jeb Bush, Texas senator Ted Cruz, former CEO Carly Fiorina, Florida senator Marco Rubio and Wisconsin governor Scott Walker in which all all attend a gathering of well-heeled GOP donors at a luxury resort in Orange County, California. "

All of the above will merely continue the policies established below and will continue destroying the USA economy for self enrichment. All of these candidates are sellouts and liars.

This best describes all of the 5 candidates named above:

We must ask ourselves why in the hell does American Legislative Exchange Council inspired corporate America want to own government programs that they spend so much time and money convincing we taxpayers our great programs are evil and do not work?

BIG PROFITS inspired with our tax dollars. Of course taxes will increases once the corporate giants take over to cover the cost of obscene CEO wages, bonus packages, golden parachutes and medical coverage for the rest of their lives.

This isn't management or a fiscally responsible action. This is a big game of pretend.

This right wing American Legislative Exchange Council Party knows nothing about management yet seem to know all about destroying an economy. And destroying employment.

"The American Legislative Exchange Council Party is being represented by former Florida governor Jeb Bush, Texas senator Ted Cruz, former CEO Carly Fiorina, Florida senator Marco Rubio and Wisconsin governor Scott Walker that will follow the following agenda:

--- What does the American Legislative Exchange Council Party have on their agenda?
    http://www.salon.com/2015/07/31/secrets_of_the_extreme_religious_right_i...

    --- United States of ALEC
    http://www.democracynow.org/2012/9/27/the_united_states_of_alec_bill

    --- http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/01/koch-brothers-candidate-trai...

    --- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dennis-van-roekel/exposing-alecs-agenda-to...

I like him for telling this phoney GOP to go straight to hell.
