Saudi Arabia has less than 1/10 of the population of the US.

If we include the thousands of innocents who died in drone strikes, we are much more murderous than any ME nation.

Oh, so percentage is important now, huh ? What a lovely way to justify hypocrisy.

When looking at data you look at all the data. What you are doing is looking at part of the data and making a judgement and instead of admitting that you imply others are doing the same..

It is against human rights law for a state to execute a prisoner in the European Union. We see countries that do it as ethically primitive.

And I look at it as being ethically stupid if not outright suicidal.

Its not like the laws are a secret.. If you murder, rape, molest children, commit grand larceny with violence, you get the death penalty.

The difference is that the people we executed were given a fair trial. The people that the Saudis executed were given show trials or no trial at all.

This is absolutely true. In the Middle East, everyone, and I do mean everyone knows the exact penalties for doing a crime. Those penalties are enforced whether you are a member of the royal family and the penalties are enforced if you do a crime without exception. This is the social contract that binds their societies together. If you do not like this, don't do crime. The consequences of crime are not arbitrary or capricious, they are a certainty.

    Good!

to be fair, beheading, if done right, is a very good way to execute someone.

We see you allowing the rape of women and children in your refugee camps as ethically primitive.

Bullspit. The Royal Families regularly and casually engage it that the others are subjected to the death penalty for. They use drugs, they engage in casual sex, they rape, they indulge in homosexuality. All things their society puts others to death for.

Since the only way to get the death sentence is to commit murder than I see that penalty as a form of punishment given to someone who has already violated someone's human rights.

Also if you are an apostate, if you have extramarital sex or gay sex, if you blaspheme, or if you practice witchcraft. Saudi Arabia is truly a barbaric place.

"Apostate" means that you have betrayed the community and the faith with an egregious crime.

Witchcraft is when you sell superstition to heal someone so they don't seek medical help.. Its considered serious fraud.

Bernie Madoff would probably have been found guilty and executed instead of getting 300 years in prison.

How many trials did you attend in Nazi Germany?

Not being a Muslim is considered a pretty egregious crime in Saudi Arabia.

There is no legal definition of Witchcraft.

Yet another thread accenting how far the US is falling behind the 3rd world, Putin was right, American exceptionalism is fading under the Obama regime...
