I got some news from a friend today that I needed to google another mutual friend. Found out he killed his girlfriend and their toddler or younger age daughter was in the house with them. I've never been friends with someone that's murdered another person, at least to my knowledge. I hadn't seen the guy in over 10 years, but he was the never the violent type when I knew him in college. He'd been on my Facebook for a few years and seemed happy, posting pics of his girlfriend, then pregnancy photos, then photos of their cute little daughter. I mean I know you can never truly know a person or what they'll do in a given situation, and I know Facebook is hardly a barometer for how a person is doing if you don't ever actually see that person, but still. It's just a bit surreal. I always liked him, but in the time it took me to read the news article I went from that to wishing my state executed people. I can't think of many crimes more heinous than taking a child's parent's life right in front of them. The article didn't say she had definitely been in the room, but the child was found with blood on her although thankfully she was unharmed. Just not quite sure how to fully process it I suppose.
Sorry to hear about that. Sounds like a hell of an experience to put children through, also. Best wishes for them both, and may the father suffer justice. I've never known anyone who killed someone else. Just themselves.
Had a friend do the same thing. Killed his wife, new born and committed suicide. No one really knows why.
Uhgg, ugly thread. I met and became acquainted with strange one, acquitted for a bizarre murder. There is a reason I met him, but that won't make much sense until you look at my profile and really consider what is "not credible" . http://www.upi.com/Archives/1981/10/15/Boyfriend-barbecued-man-he-feared/7565371966400/
No, but I have a friend that was murdered - more like a best friend.. **edit** I do have a friend that killed a man who tried to rob him, but he wasn't charged with any crime. It was a long time ago and he doesn't like to talk about it..
