I don't think that's true... Some do, but I think most see that it was the will of God for Jesus to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind. I wonder if the Nazis would have been so convincing if they hadn't gone after "communists"?
Yes.. they were poor.. Palestine is hardscrabble country.. The area was always poor. You might enjoy the Bon Fils photos of Syria and Palestine 1880s.
I was merely pointing out where the word Nazi comes from. I'm part Ashkenazi and I am not and have never been a nazi.
the word Nazi, is an acronym for National Sozialist. it has nothing to do with the ENGLISH word, "Ashkenazi".
You should study the roman catholic church and lutherian and anglican church position regarding jews throughout history, especially the catholics and lutherian.
I do not think now. There are not antisemitism thought some ignorant people have it but the majority do not have. Jews are wise people and most of what the world has got now whether it is scientific invention or social science or political philosiohy it is Jews who have done it. Since I do not believe in Jesus I do not subscribe to this racial attitude called antisemitism. at all
Good lord this thread's been going on for a while. Look, I'm sure the Jews have done their fair share of bad things just like everyone else. What more needs to be discussed?
Its the scapegoating that needs to stop. If all else fails, blame the Jews, right? Antisemitism is rising rapidly in EU. The amount of it in LIBERAL U.S. colleges is also disturbing beyond belief. If someone spouted off in public the kind of things against Jews, but inserted black people, those students would be properly expelled instantly, but you can get away with it against Jews. Liberal Jews in the US are like the German Jews before WWII.
How cute. Ashkenazi. Churlish nonsense. As for the fact that Ashkenazi jews are genetically not classified as semites, big deal. The term "anti-Semite" is a label expressly coined to mean "prejudiced against JEWS" and that is how it is used (and misused). We all know that the term semite refers to a number of both ancient and modern peoples. that is why Jew Hater is so much more concise a term.

What did I just say before....just blame the Jews, eh?
You seem to have strayed from the main point quoting a portion of the comment that breaks the distorts the meaning. All I mean Jews are good and wise people and they had some advantages, not genetic or inherited stuff that differentiate them from the rest of other faith holders. Jews had some advantages. They were business people or come from merchant communities and that had given all the advantages or resources to make use of their potentials. I mean it is not their racial contents or special inborn stuffs that placed them a bit higher than other people. In a similar environment they cannot outperform the rest of other creed followers. Please do not miss the point.
