U.S. officials - Israel wants up to $5 billion in annual military aid

Nice deception, the money does not go per capita. It goes to the Muslim Brotherhoods military. How much does Egypt fear being over run by Jews? Is it a real fear, because there is in no way enough Israelis to occupy any foreign country. So why the need for all the military aid?
Israel is under constant threat from multiple sources some of which declared Israel should be wiped from the map and its people burned. Seems to be a disparagement in actual need for aid there.

 

Israel has attacked Egypt twice in the past... in 1956 and 1967.

The Israelis always brag about how successful they are.. They don't need our money.. Let's spend that $7 million per day on US border security.

 

Israel is a bigger threat to US interests in the Mid East than Iran ever was. The crazy christians want to end the world and they think Israel needs to exist and the temple needs to be rebuilt. This has nothing to do with Israel actually being an ally.

They also have a treaty and a mutual agreement to combat terrorists in the Sinai. They did not have this in '67. Egypt was aiding or turning a blind eye to terrorists then.

 

Good lord we've already given 3 billion dollars for their military so called security annually. This is a fact and only giving 450 million to the Palestine people in forgien aid money they don't need eight billion.

 

Until such time as our roads, bridges and the rest of our infrastructure at home are brought back up to snuff...I'd cancel all foreign aid and put those dollars to use here.

Who gives charity to a neighbor while your own house is falling apart? Doesn't make sense anymore.

 

Split the difference to $4B and let `em keep existing settlements - but no new ones...

Hell with what they say.

Here in the US there are several Jews who are billionaires and it's their duty to help their ethnic ancestry, their relatives over there.

So far, no country around Israel wants to invade it. And the Palestinian problem is an "internal national conflict" in Israel, Palestinians have no army, so their problem is not as big as you think it is.

Israel has nuclear weapons. No country in that region will try to mess with Israel.

It is time to cut off such expensive help to that country.

 

I have better idea - let's take

$2bln we give to Egypt
$500mln we give to Palestine
$350mln we give to Jordan
$250mln we give to Emirates
$200mln we give to Saudis
$70mln we give to Yemen
and (*)(*)(*)(*)ing $5bln we give to Pakistan

and give it to Israel so they have more resources maintaining democracy and fighting terrorism?

 

Do you think we need to give Palestinians more money... what for? to build more tunnels, buy more Iranian rockets.. ah YES!!! they need more of our money to pay stipend to the families of all these newly minted martyrs, departing to meet Allah daily

70 million to Yemen? The population of Yemen is about 24 million.. Poor, poor Israel. So needy.. they just can't make without $7 million a day from US citizens.

Neither Israel nor Palestinians were to receive money from us. Our politicians are corrupt enough to waste our tax money sending it to other peoples who don't deserve it.

Haiti has a population of 10 million people and they are poor, unlike Israel.
