On the call several Republican governors and two Democrats -- New Hampshire’s Maggie Hassan and California’s Jerry Brown -- repeatedly pressed administration officials to share more information about Syrian refugees entering the United States. The governors wanted notifications whenever refugees were resettled in their states, as well as access to classified information collected when the refugees were vetted.

“There was a real sense of frustration from all the governors that there is just a complete lack of transparency and communication coming from the federal government,” said one GOP state official who was on the call.

Obama will shove Islam down our throats.

He's such an ass. And anti-American.

From the POS fake president who ordered the border patrol to not give interviews when the 60K-strong waves of illegal "children" were streaming across the border last year.

Whether its the president or the local choir club chairman, if an elected official tells you they are "committed to transparency," they are lying right to your face.

    FU, obama.

Folks, who is really surprised? Please tell me that you are not that dumb? Ayone who can't put the dots together and see hussein for what he really is, is absolutely f&^king blind! This guy is a muslim sympathizer who has sided with his father and brother's brethren. He has basically given iran an equivalent of a billion dollars in frozen assets by his great deal and the pathway for his brethren to get a nuke. He will do nothing about our border problem as he watched thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens drop their kids off at the border. He will cram thousands of syrians into our country with basically no idea who is who, nor does he care. His foreign policy on fighting ISIS is a complete joke. He's not committed at all to fighting radical islam. He turns his back on Christians who are having their heads lopped off in the mid east, yet he finds a way to get his brethren here from syria. Paris was just a "setback".

I mean, c'mon folks, can we not see what he is? He is as advertised. A community leader for his local mosque or "mask" as I see it.

    Interesting comments here.

While I share some of the reservations expressed about allowing entry of more Syrian refugees, I wonder why the right wing did not criticize Bush when he allowed entry of Muslim refugees from Afghanistan, Iraq, Eritrea, and Somalia.

It is well established that ISIS has recruited more terrorists from Somali immigrants - most here thanks to traitor Bush.

Let's see the forum right wingers voice their anger and hatred towards Bush for his treason.

Plenty of people did, and now we have years of data about how well those somalis have done.

So there's no need to make the mistake twice, don't you agree?

And what do you think about our president pouting?

Do you think its the most transparent administration in history?

What possible reason is there for the information not to be revealed - unless he's hiding something? [IMG]

I'm sure the information that the Governors are requesting will be coming soon. No need for them to get alarmed.

You have to go back farther than "W" Bush to see our foreign policy idiocy in proper perspective, Mr. Truth. A logical place would be Afghanistan, during the Jimmuh Cawduh administration, when we were hell-bent on arming the Mujahideen to fight the Russians! Even my wonderful Ronald Reagan missed the clues of how dangerous and unpredictable Islam can be, but he was determined to bring down the Soviet Union, and that took top priority.

You could say, "Well, hell, nobody knew anything about insane Islam back then, and besides, they could knock a Hind helicopter out of the air with one American-made Stinger missile!" Bravo...sort of, except now, anybody who is an "infidel" is their enemy, deserving to be thrown to their knees and decapitated. Or shot to pieces, Or blown up. Whatever... right? BTW, how many Christians in, say, the last three hundred years have had viewpoints like that...?!

Please don't misunderstand me. I'm NOT defending Idiot Bush, but what we're seeing, right before our eyes, is that our current Idiot Obama is even worse, and he's going to IMPORT this Islamo-pestilence into the United States and lace it throughout our population -- and -- make us pay for the "privilege" of having him do this, all by himself, with his "pen and phone", like the son-of-a-(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) does everything else during his second-term....

Interesting to say the least I have the same amount of reversions about allow Syrians in this country. However, you forget that a ship full off Jewish families fleeing the holocaust was in fact turned away once they couldn't enter Cuba and from the forlida coast these Jews had to go back to face the death camps and labor camps. We giving into the same fears that President Roosevelt [IMG]
But it was wrong then as it is now

    Plenty did? Name them.

OK - I was one of them so don't include me in that listing.

Yes, there is no need to repeat that mistake. But it would be the ultimate hypocrisy for right wingers and Republicans to object to allowing entry of refugees when they embraced all these others during the Bush regime.

By the way, it is interesting that Bush brought in all those Somalis and dumped the majority of them into largely Democrat Minnesota. The result has been heightened racial/ethnic tension among American blacks and Somalis. There have been numerous instances of fights and other troubles among them. All thanks to Republican Bush. Again, where was the objection when he did this???

It is refreshing to see a right wing like you finally criticize Reagan and Bush. Too bad more right wingers on this forum do not have that type of honesty and integrity. After all, the problems we see today in the ME is largely (though not exclusively) attributable to their stupidity but right wingers all too often refuse to acknowledge that truth.

By contrast you have see me often enough criticize Obama for his failure to withdraw ALL of our troops from the ME. I have said enough times that we do not belong there and have no interests in that region.

As was reported last night in the Business News of PBS, stock values in the military industrial complex companies went upward this week as another war outbreak is anticipated. I have always said, take the profit out of war and then we will have peace.

I would argue that American military involvement anywhere is because US 'interests' are at stake.

Obama said he was going to have the most transparent administration in US history.

So, was he lying then or is he lying now?

First off, Bush never committed treason, but yes there are many things we could voice anger about him. Just like Obama.

Second, Bush warned of this exact scenario in 2007 before he left the office. Bush realized he was wrong and warned Obama and the public in a speech.

WAHHHH! Fox news!!! Doesn't matter the source, as it came right from dubya's mouth:

Blind Obamalovers only see one side. They NEVER take responsibility for THEIR failures.

    Thank you lefties, for ISIS.

USA had no interests at stake when Saddam was in power. Look at what happened when Bush_Stupid invaded. Ditto for the Taliban in Afghanistan and Reagan's idiotic idea of putting marines in danger in Lebanon.

The only Americans who have any interest in all this is the military industrial complex whose stock values increased yesterday as reported in the Business News.

The military industrial complex pulls the puppet strings of its stooges in Washington DC - that's why our troops are overseas. It is to serve their financial interests. Not the interests of the USA.
