I think what's more sickening and disturbing, is when a population hates itself so much, and is so bastardised, that they prefer to house foreign refugees over their own homeless citizens. Ever known a political party or politician NOT to use fracturing to promote themselves?
A lot of the homeless people choose to be homeless, strange but true. Real 'refugees' are a global problem and cannot be ignored. It's giving them a chance. The homeless in Australia get the same chances if they work the system, but usually homelessness seems to be a mental health problem at its core.
