In my opinion, these are questions for the Sun, deoxyribonucleic acid, and God if you're a believer.

She was born as a white woman but she claimed to be biracial in order to boost her credentials as a college lecturer specialising on black culture and an activist for the NAACP.

English is his second language and he's Asian.

Saying you're black doesn't make it so, so....no.

I want to be part of the X-Men and have mutant superpowers. Think that's happening right now?

I don't think she is harming anyone in her wish and desire. If you aspire to be something you should be able to go on and do it so long as it isn't harming anyone or their rights. If she wants to be black, a man, gender-less or a penguin she has the full right to be those things, though I hear the Trans-Penguin surgery is quite painful.

But wanting to be black is not as "simple" as gender-changing surgery. You can't just be black or a penguin unless you're a shapeshifter.

There are thousands of things happening in the world that have a negative influence on society. Someone claiming to be a Race that others would see as not her own is not even one I would list in that. If she is happy, if her neighbor is unaffected and her family is safe, I see no reason to impede on her wish. I know its very confusing for most people. Its a new trend that has been popping up all over the western countries. Its a thing. A new thing. When I read about the first case of this happening I will admit to my own confusion. I believed you were born with a set number of cards and as you lived you did what you could to make sure your cards made a good hand to win the game at the end of your days. Today, people are finding a way to change the cards they don't like. Its no doubt strange right now, but when I am old I am sure people will be easily be able to change how they wish, when they wish. There is not much we will be able to do about that. I am not typically for "bending the knee" and just hoping for the best despite your beliefs on the matter, but much like Gender change, changing your skin tone to be more like another, it wont be seen as crazy as it does sometimes today. Understanding and Accepting are two different things.

Oh, by no means will her decision on this affect me or anyone else at all. At the same time saying you're black and actually being black are two different things.

Entertaining these types of things will ultimately render the dictionary useless. If she robs a bank and turns fugitive, do we say 'a black woman on the run' or do we correctly describe a white, freckled-faced woman wearing spray - on tan?

If I ever visit Japan and become enamored with the culture, I couldn't be an Asian, no matter how much I loved the culture. I can, however, welcome others to experience my own culture and hope they enjoy it enough to want to share the experience.

I hope the Dolezal individual gets help and gets well soon.

I personally don't care if a person wants to be transracial or transgender. I see it as the same. I mean let's get real here. A man is not a woman. If you want to identify as a woman that's your choice. Some people are going to accept it and some people are not. Getting sexual reassignment surgery won't change your genetic maleness. I transgender born male no matter how much they want to be a woman can not give birth to a child. Their transformation is as artificial as getting breast implants or butt injections. It's not natural. If it makes them feel better about themselves more power to them but it isn't natural. My only problem with transgenders are the ones that hide their birth gender from men that they try to date. I want a natural born woman, not a transgender. I would be very angry with one if they deceived me. Also if their decision affects other people in some way that is a problem. There is a transgender MMA fighter named Fallon Fox who was knocking women out left and right. Fox was born a man and lived as one most of his life until the sex change. I don't think that it is fair to the natural female athletes in women's MMA to have to fight a transgender who has the hormones and muscularity of a man.

As for transracial people if they want to pretend they are another race that is their business. I believe that Michael Jackson was transracial. I think he also had body dysmorphic disorder which is why he was unhappy with his physical appearance and got all of those surgeries. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt when he said his skin color changed because he had vitiligo but that may have been a lie. Not only did his skin color change he also straightened his hair or wore wigs. The most damning evidence that he was transracial are his children. Those are not his biological children. Vitiligo does not make a Black man produce White kids. At most they should look biracial. I think he wanted to be White he just couldn't admit it to himself or the public. This woman in the OP wanted to be Black and hid the fact that she was born White. Obviously she had some sort of identity crisis and wasn't comfortable in her own skin. If it makes her happy she can call herself Black but many people now that they know the truth are always going to view her as a White woman pretending to be Black not as an actual Black person.

So I see problems all around with these trans people. On one hand I don't want to offend them or be intolerant but on the other I don't believe what they are doing is natural or logical.

The problem is the LIE is for personal profit and gain. For example, Elizabeth Warren claiming to be Native American earned her a professorship at Harvard, which then promoted her falsely as their FIRST Native American professor. This woman used falsely claiming to be black to gain a job as well. In short, they are not just liars, but thieves.

It is absurd not to use DNA as the standard for gender in all athletics. Males and females have different bone structure anatomy and athletic ability is not about how you feel about yourself.

Kathyn Jenner was awarded "Woman of the Year," supporting the claim that men really ARE superior to women at everything, including being a woman. Trangender women are proving men are better than women at women's athletics too. Apparently, male dna is even superior at being female.

Being trangender is a psychological disturbance. While possibly that should be addressed by a person living consistent to that self psychology, it becomes a different matter when that is then thrust upon everyone else such as in athletics.

The problem I see with Dolezal is that she was lying about her ethnic background and upbringing to give herself activist cred. She was deliberatively deceiving people for her own gain. Even if you believe race is a costume that can be taken on and off when it suits you, you have to admit pretending to have been born into a certain race or culture all along is severe dishonesty.

And the transgender analogy doesn't work here. As I understand it, real transgender people (not the "tucute" pretenders who infest SJW websites like tumblr) have an inborn disconnect between their bodily and neurological sex; that is, their brains are wired to think they're the opposite sex of whatever the rest of their body shows. Contra certain racialists here, there is no evidence of an "African" or "European" brain with different wiring on par with the male or female brain. Races don't have those distinct brain structural differences. So there is no way for some to be born "transracial" the way some people are born transgender.
