Hi, of course I want to know what goes into the food we buy. How about you? Another win for Monsanto and the likes? Or should we do what many European countries are doing, ban it all together? http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-...r-deliberating-over-new-gm-techniques/7033808 Regards
Been saying it for years. Europeans are intelligent- Australians are backward and dumb. You just have to read the article you linked to understand that, and it came form "supposed scientists". They said GM food is not dangerous, but have no proof.
Yes, I wished my fellow countrymen/women would be more interested in what's going into our food. There are no checks being made on the claims of the GM industry, how stupid can it get? Regards
Just about all food eaten is genetically modified. Maybe by farmers thousands of years ago. If you did a census of all plants that existed 10,000 years ago you would struggle to find foods that are still eaten today without being modified.
Yes, but for different reasons as compared to e.g. Monsanto. Those farmers didn't try to sell you their fertilizer, or reduced the genetic information in a seed. Those farmers were honestly trying for a better fruit, and not for the greediness of a ruthless global player..... Sorry, I have to admit a am a bit of a Greene!!!! Regards
If anyone seriously trusts Monsanto, or companies who want to genetically modify food and not want their food labelled; then they are in desperate need of a good psychiatrist.
I see no reason not to label GMO and I am not against the use of GMO food. I feel the public has the right to know. And if there ain't nothing wrong where is the problem?
