The councilmans mouth just showed us the true cost of affirmative action. Brainwashing some into thinking they are being held down.

They are Only to be held down because of the racism they create with this false narrative being drilled into their heads.

So you advocate throwing bricks at people you already deem to have no respect for law or life? If the cops have no respect for law or life then what do you think will happen to the brick throwers?

Another Cop Hater I see. What has really been proved is, 99.49% of cops are GOOD COPS. But go ahead, throw a rock at me, and see how long you live after that stupid act.

The word is ASSIMILATION. Some cultures refuse to assimilate thus HOLDING THEMSELVES BACK.

My closest friend is in law enforcement. It is a thankless job conducted under constant scrutiny. Thank you for your service. Some of us are grateful.

Yup, and large segments of blacks anymore are easily stirred to violence and mayhem. If he doesn't recant his words, he should be arrested and fired.

I'm not sure he can be fired, he was elected. He can be arrested though.
Doesn't look like any "recant" is forthcoming, at least anything sincere. He may get enough political pressure to force him into backing off his comments, who knows. In any case, he's real scum.
