Yep, nothing like overthrowing a democracy and supporting a vicious dictator in its place. It's the American Way folks.

Lets see your evidence for your claim that

Show us that you and Eadora are not completely ignorant as to the history of our world. Although in your case as a Brit, it could be just your inability to admit that the British and Russia installed the Shah in the 40s.

Revealing, with the massive amount of text that Eadora has copied and pasted to the forum in support of the assertions made, that he hasnt yet copied and pasted any of the text relevant to those assertions. He seems to think copy and pasting volumes of irrelevant text, somehow wins him points just because there is so much of it.

A prime minister who has disolved the Parliament and given dictatorial authority to pass new laws, isnt exactly a democracy.

why do you think one has to "set a foot" in any country to be able to analyze and comment on their political and economic actions.

    Foolish.

You are being ridiculous. I have never been to Russia, I don't even know Russians, and yet I was able to predict every one of Vladimir Putin's moves because I know Russian history, I know Orthodox history and I know the current geo political situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.

And unlike Washington, I also paid attention to what Vladimir Putin and the other leaders in Russia actually said, instead of putting my own thoughts and assumptions into their heads.

Now the 'exceptionalists' in Washington are wondering how they could have been so wrong in everything. Well maybe if they weren't so arrogant, and instead of denigrating everyone who didn't go along with them, and actually paid attention instead of playing their political games, the world situation would have been a lot different.

Margot, aren't you the one who said that Putin passed a law that will keep him in office until 2024? Uhhh, excuse me, where is your information coming from?[IMG]

This is from the Saker, a former military analyst:

First, the murder by the Saudi Wahabis of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr and 46 other Shia was a deliberately planned provocation. The Saudis knew, knew full well, that it would result in an explosion of rage in the Shia world. Not only that, but the timing was also carefully chosen.

    http://thesaker.is/first-thoughts-o...is-an-attack-on-iranian-forces-in-syria-next/

The Saker believes that Saudi Arabia and its new Islamic Army want to go to war with Iran, but Iran is too powerful and the terrain is to difficult to take on directly, so it might go into Syria to fight them. They will use the excuse they are fighting terrorists, but in reality they will be assisting ISIS.

The following is a previous post of mine, and it seems I'm not the only one who believed it was instigated by Ankara. I read today that Erdogan called in the Iranian ambassador to complain about the Iranian newspapers and their accusations that he was behind the killings of the Shia cleric and the other Shias.

    ..................................................................

Well then you happily admit to an International Crime committed by your Government and its
scofflaw Agencies, according to UN Charter, to which your miserable excuse for a so called
.............................................................................. "Rule of Law" Government is signatory
.................................................................................. Well it's nice to finally agree on something is it NOT? - dixon76710 ?

    But that's all OKay! -
Because said Government & their EVIL Agencies, seem also to readily admit to that Fact, and
seem to feel endowed with the Exceptionalist Right to act unilaterally in any way they see fit, with
    ............................................................................................................................... utter Impunity :steamed:

    The 35 Documents Linked to
are significant for a number of reasons, but the headline news is this: ‘CIA Admits It Was Behind Iran’s Coup
And the most significant line taken from these Documents - is from a CIA internal history from the mid-1970s:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
quote “the military coup that overthrew Mossadeq and his National Front cabinet was carried out under CIA direction
........................................... as an act of US foreign policy, conceived and approved of at the highest levels of government

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You really are NOT paying attention are you "dixie" ?

Review the admission by CIA Agent Extraordinaire - Donald N Wilber the person who planned & instigated
    ....................................................................................................................................... "The TPAJAX Project"

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    quote:
"It was the aim of "The TPAJAX Project" -- ( that was the mission's code name ) -- "to cause the fall of the Mossadeq
Government; to reestablish the prestige and power of the Shah; and to replace the Mossadech government with
one which would govern Iran according to constructive policies."

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

& as it turned out the whole reason & purpose of "The TPAJAX Project" was not only to kick Mossedech out of power,
but to Reinstall the Shah, who had effectively been reduced to a has been Tin Pot Puppet of Anglo/American foreign policy
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{as a matter of Fact, Agents where sent from Washington to reassure the Shah to become involved in the Plot when he got Cold Feet
    & was afraid the Plot would fail - All this has been clearly admitted to - So why do you bust your brain on the Brick of that Fact ?}
    :wall:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

& if that does not convince you that it was the CIA's intent to Install theShah into power - After they got rid of Mossedech
Then I suggest you also Review the statement taken directly from The CIA's OWN Web Site:

    https://www.cia.gov/library/center-f...article10.html
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The CIA's covert intervention—codenamed TPAJAX—preserved the Shah's power and protected Western control of a hugely lucrative oil
infrastructure. It also transformed a turbulent constitutional monarchy into an absolutist kingship and induced a succession of unintended
consequences at least as far ahead as the Islamic revolution of 1979

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The bottom line is that current oil prices, if they continue, put KSA in dire economic straits.

They would benefit from middle east disruption that might raise oil prices.

And standing on a street in KSA would not make this observation either more or less accurate.

You better be careful if you are standing on a street in KSA....

Horror at the Hajj: At least 700 people are crushed to death in the street and hundreds injured in stampede during Muslim pilgrimage in Mecca just two weeks after crane collapse killed 109

None of them confirm your disputed statements

And the Shah didn't replace Mossadegh. General Zahedi replaced him as Prime Minister. The Shah was the Shah, before, during and after the coup. Such strong opinions regarding matters you know nothing about.

Both the US and Saudi Arabia produce more oil than Russia. Hurts the US and Saudi more than it does Russia.

I didn't know anything about Saudi Arabia, other than it must be a lovely country...but that I wouldn't advise any young girl to go there, no matter how wealthy and good looking her boy friend is. What I read today from Pepe Escobar, who is my favorite writer... although he is not always accurate, is that King Salmon's son is arrogant and excessively stupid...but then again all arrogant people are.

What is your opinion of what's going on in Saudi Arabia? I'm really curious because Mohamed Bin Salmon is certainly making a mess of things.
