    Firstly, do you watch a lot of BET and "black" movies?

    Secondly, the Academy Awards are all white. That's why these people are upset.

    Perhaps Al Sharpton was drooling at the idea of being invited to host the Oscars, but fell short which put him into this rage. Together with Jamie Foxx he wanted to take over the town thinking they were at some pub where Eddie Murphy used to drop in in 48 Hours . He can write to Al Pacino and demand an apology.

    Setting a quota for Oscar winning black films doesn't really make sense to me.

    Setting quotas for anything based off race is an insane and blatantly racist policy.

    The Oscar people gave into that racism with their "emergency changes".

    So when the next Black movie/actor/director wins something it will never be known if it won on merit or simple because of Blackness.

    It sends a disgusting message that says "Blacks have to artificially elevated to the status of Whites".

    These people who claim to be the champions of equality are perpetuating the very notion that we're not actually equal.

    We have radical new-gen liberalism to thank for this and its only going to get worse.

    But hey maybe if we give awards to enough bad movies it will somehow fix the Black problems of epidemic level crime, rampant drug use, widespread illiteracy/illegitimacy, and generational poverty.

    Yea right...

    It's why AA does more damage than good. It undermines the real achievers. Any black nominee for an academy award now has an asterisk. We'll see next year if there are a disproportionate number. Whoops, liberal fail!!!!

    Yeah, right Einstein. I give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) what BET does. I couldn't tell you what channel it's on and that's if I even have it at all. Try to remember no one lives in your fantasy land with you.
