Seattle law now defines gender as choice: Man demands right to use woman's bathroom

Seattle Parks and Recreation is facing a first-of-a-kind challenge to gender bathroom rules. A man undressed in a women's locker room, citing a new state rule that allows people to choose a bathroom based on gender identity.

It was a busy time at Evans Pool around 5:30pm Monday February 8. The pool was open for lap swim. According to Seattle Parks and Recreation, a man wearing board shorts entered the women's locker room and took off his shirt. Women alerted staff, who told the man to leave, but he said "the law has changed and I have a right to be here."
"Really bizarre," MaryAnne Sato said. "I can't imagine why they would want to do that anyway!"

Sato uses the locker room a few times a week, but she says this is a first for her. It's also a first for Seattle Parks and Recreation. Employees report that the man made no verbal or physical attempt to identify as a woman, yet he still cited a new rule that allows bathroom choice based on gender identification.

The issue drew protesters from both sides to Olympia on Monday. Opponents claim the rule opens up bathrooms to voyeurs but supporters say that's an unrealistic fear.

No one was arrested in this case and police weren't called, even though the man returned a second time while young girls were changing for swim practice.

My take - as the filth ideology of progressives continues it's slow errosion of the West, we will see more stories like this. I'm done with Democrats and progressives - I'm voting for Trump in 2016. The insanity of black lives matter, feminists, and "gender identity" adovcates has gone full retard. Not to mention the progressive desire for the destruction of the natural patriarchal order, their hopes for open borders, and a bland, meaningless society; a society much like pockets of Europe which is well on its way to be overtaken by the more naturally ordered Islamic faith.

The bolded part is clear acceptance of men to prey on young girls - something progressives are willingness to let happen as part of their garbage utopia.

 

Sounds fairly stupid. I think perhaps he is buying into the simpleton view of things along the lines of "derp, I want to say I am a woman so I can go into the locker room and watch them undress because I am a creepy Republican dude who publicly expresses fantasies like that".

Now in Seattle that pervert has every right to use the bathroom with little girls. It's what they wanted, they are 100% responsible for the unintended consequences. Who are they to say the man doesn't identify as a woman who prefers to look like a man?

 

What proof do you have that the guy you spoke of, who just wants to go into the women's bathroom, really isn't as much of a woman as a man who "claims" he should have been born a woman? Both are making claims. Why is one more right than the other? Unless of course you can read minds. In which case you still couldn't prove it.

The point is that we set a standard that it's okay for idiots who just want to see chicks in the locker room, to do so. All they have to do is identify as a woman and BAM! Free ticket in.

Your unwillingness to condemn this open ended law is proof enough as to just how low you've set the bar for gender roles and moral guidelines.

This wasn't a bathroom, it was a locker room. Women's bathrooms are generally quite private.

Personally i don't use public locker rooms. If i go swimming at my gym, i wear my trunks underneath and then shower at home.

Nothing creepier than a bunch of old men waddling around naked.

 

Do they have women quota for the good jobs in Seattle?

 

I see no proof in this story that this man is less of a 'woman' than any other man who claims to be a woman. Can you for once, please cite how this man is less of a woman than any other man?

It's a shame you don't use the common sense you do in condemning the far/religious right when justifying idiotic and dangerous laws like this. You're splitting hairs with locker rooms and bathrooms; in the end, this law permits any man from walking into a place where women are changing without their consent. The line has been crossed. I feel no sorrow for anything that happens to progressives who support this type of insanity; they've made their beds.

Your cynicism isn't winning the argument. Show proof how this man was not a man by all accounts beyond his desire to label himself as otherwise.

 

The burden of proof lies on YOU. This individual is identifying as a woman. Last I checked, identifying as a woman or a man, when you are not, is now becoming legal. Do you believe identifying as a woman if you are a man should be illegal? Or should their be a polygraph test before hand?

 

i think its a stupid law, and only someone who lives as a woman and is in the process of undergoing gender reconstructive surgery, should be allowed to use a womens' locker room.

but that doesn't change the larger, alterior agenda/motive of the OP.
