This attack on the decorated Marine has just as much to do about where it happened as why or how. Washington DC gun laws are so strict that they discourage law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. Other than the paid security and gangs, it's a gun free zone. The criminals know this and so it's a free for all. They don't have to concern themselves with drawing attention before they commit their crimes. Who's going to stop them? Business grants, yes that would be something I could agree with. I see nothing wrong in helping someone start a business in which not only they can pay back, but also create a good opportunity for themselves and even put people to work. Yes we can work with this, great idea.



Instead of investments, I am sure we could work on something productive like the business grants, and have actual investors get together to help out black entrepreneurs get something going for themselves and again not only help themselves but also create jobs within black communities.

I think if anything that could be honestly pulled off, the last 2 suggestions would be the place to start. Create businesses, create wealth and create jobs within the black community. I can see that as ideal and it is honestly good for the country as well.
