I did as I normally do with Trump...ignored his bluster because I knew it was useless and negative. If by feminist you mean do I respect women and appreciate them...I suppose I am.

The second I looked at her I dismissed her as a joke. I would have told her to get back to the bedroom, get the Jacuzzi ready, and stop back-talking me.

Im waiting as well. Getting paid the same if you do as good of a job seems reasonable to me.

 

I am sure this woman has no clue about how disingenuous the "females make less" statistics can be.

These general studies are pretty much worthless because they compare apples to oranges.

Right now Universities are populated by over 60% women. Who's fault is it they make statistically lower paying career choices which is exactly what they tend to do.

Then, when doing mass comparisons, no accounting is made for the fact that many women choose to stay home with kids.

When real scientifically valid studies are done.. Comparing childless women to men working in the same field ... the pay gap magically shrinks dramatically or disappears all together.

Absolutely-which is why I get so annoyed hearing lefty politicians push what they know isn't true.

All other factors being equal (including pay, generally) women are more likely to work less hours. There are various reasons for this but the end result is a male is likely to make more.

Its just spin intended to divide people. Years back in college a few girls in my class mentioned the wage "gap" to me in passing and I said if that was true, and I was a business owner I'd hire only women. You could see the gears turning, but I don't know how much it sank in.

 

No doubt in the past the argument had merit but wake up to reality. I was irritated as well when Clinton and Sanders pumped this nonsense when you know that both know full well that this argument is statistical BS.

That said, it is not that much of a big deal as pay equity legislation (equal pay for the same work) already exists. They are simply harping for change that already exists.

 

I respect much of the feminist movement, but those pesky third-wavers are ruining it for everyone else.

I suspect they actually want women to make the same in pay and benefits as men while working less.

 

Women have sons and fathers, which from a communal aspect means that anything which is good for men is also good for them; they are in a way their sons and fathers, just a men are tied into women. Gender dynamics don't make any sense from this point of view. Western white people have no community anymore though, it's all purely individualistic, which means that being female is a great injustice according to feminists.

And don't even try to explain to them how only the man can pass on Y-chromozone based genes...
