If someone feels personally insulted by a TV pundit, thin skin is the least of his problems.

Like never before, the Trump candidacy is causing the Republican Establishment to shed their facade.

They hate it that Trump wants not to be the world's policeman.

They hate it that he is not owned by the traditional owners of the rest of them.

They hate it that he actually wants to get tough with the bankers and corporations who profit from trade deals that sell out America.

They secretly prefer Hillary Clinton in the White House because they know ... "she is one of us."

Cruz vs Clinton is what they want because, whoever wins is one of their people, a win-win situation.

    My two cents .... :oldman:

He is sort of a clown. It is one of his weaknesses. But if were a polite, articulate candidate with the same ideas, they'd still hate him for the same reasons.

Possibly, but I don't think so. I think they see Trump as damaging to the GOP reputation.

    Sure you do.

If Trump is denied the nomination, it will be John Kasich.

He would also destroy Hillary, and always polls ahead of her.

Your side is going to lose the White House, regardless. I guarantee you.

And, keep in mind John Kasich defunded Planned Parenthood :)

I don't think God himself could see that.

And the good of the country will be served best, as it always is, by electing a Democrat

    Reagan and Trump? Seriously?

Trump was pro-choice for 6 decades of his life, and suddenly we are to believe him? Reagan transitioned and proved it for well over a decade of real action. Trump is a con man. He changed his positions on abortion, gun control, immigration, and is an ogre when it comes to women. I have nothing against those who want to vote for him, but let's not ever put him up next to Reagan. Cruz is the only guy with the record and background that gives us a shot at a Reagan type leader.

I wish it was history, but democrat party racism runs deep.

Now tell me what he was as a politician. Did he ever make campaign promises trying to get elected during his candidacies then turn right around and screw his employers by start carrying water for his party's donors and special interests?

How many times has he done this during his political career and please omit his private life and his positions during it.

They got their name wrong. They stole it from Thomas Jefferson's Democratic party.

They were the money power party and they quested for power. The slavery thing was always a red herring. They needed to keep the farmer's party out of new territories and take away their power in congress.

Making money off of slavery while forcing the south to pay for northern taxes means that the whole country was guilty of slavery. Scapegoating the south for it only has been a big a myth as claiming the republicans were opposed to it. they became opposed to it when their money cow left.
