Iran is due for a liberation.

It is run by a bunch of Islamic fanatics with nukes. That is the ONLY justification we need to process with the liberation.

Once Iran has been liberated, its new and progressive leaders will I am sure establish full diplomatic relations with both Israel and the USA.

It would be hard for democracy to take root in a place where the population gets out the prayer rugs and grovels to Mecca five times a day to follow the teachings of a "holy book" that commands its "true believers" to mistreat, cheat, torture, and murder everybody in the world who doesn't believe like they do.

As long as any organized religion is harmless, it should be tolerated universally. But when any religion preaches right in the pages of its "holy book" that they must kill unbelievers then it becomes a very real "clear and present danger" that should be removed from human experience.

Defenders of Islam say that other religions have had violent pasts. Yes. Hundreds, or thousands of years ago! But only ONE religion inflicts torture, total destruction, and murder in the name of God in the 21st-Century -- ISLAM!

Here is a good formula for democracy to sweep the Middle East.

    .Mary A Burris:
Democracy...... in America and Canada was largely adopted so that the many different denominations would be free of being controlled by people from other denominations that considered themselves to be rivals.

Islam...... tends to wipe out splits through genocide......... .and such extreme oppression that populations with a variation of opinion leave that nation as soon as possible.......

If......... we were to use our power to enforce some freedom of religion in the Middle East..... a genuine trend toward democracy would soon rise up.

All we actually have to do is prevent the rulers of each nation from organizing genocide and pogroms on minorities......
and democracy would soon break out in the Middle East.......

Democracy will only work if the people are ready for it. One forgets, we started our experiment in democracy with the Magna Carta and moved very slowly from there to where we are at today. In other words we had hundreds of years of practice, moving forward. We didn't all of a sudden wake up one day ruled by a dictator and boom, democracy. That is what we are asking of the people of the middle east. Most whom never heard the word democracy and know nothing about it.

Most over there just want to be ruled by their tribal chiefs and elders, their clerics. Not someone from another tribe or religious sect even if they were able to vote one way or the other.
