Bernie is doing well in the primaries and with the popular vote. He still stands a chance. If he can edge out Clinton in actual won delegates, the super delegates will move toward him at the convention.
NY, NJ, PA, MD, Delaware, CT, Rhode Island, are ALL closed primaries. that means only Democrats can vote. no Independent interlopers and trouble makers. which means Hillary will win the vast majority of the 850 delegates. which means by April 26, the race is over.
That and the math says that our old socialist will be done soon. He did his job, he gave The Wench a scare.
Bernie just wants to seem viable in case Hillary gets condemned by an FBI indictment recommendation, at which point the pledged delegates can switch to him and put him over the top.
Not to worry...Hillary will claim the throne even if Sanders prevails and winds-up with the majority of votes. She has already been anointed by the DNC power base. Sanders hasn't chance.
New York will be decisive for the Democrats. If Bernie wins there [improbable, but at this point ...] the trend of the primary elections would change. May be in a so drastic way to diminish the weight of the superdelegates. Let's wait and see ...

Comrade Obama has put the word out to his appointees who run the FBI, the Justice Department, and the State Department that nobody is going to seriously "go after" Hillary. Make book on that... the "fix is in". She'll win, too, and it's guaranteed by the eventuality that Trump will sabotage the Republican Party by mounting a third-party candidacy. Cruz can't win with "the Donald" siphoning off probably 15% - 20% of the total vote in November. So, we'll get stupid, reckless, ignorant, radical old ex-hippie chick Hillary as president, because it's "her turn". And THAT'S all we're going to have to match wits with the likes of Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, right? We're going to be made to look like fools for yet ANOTHER eight years.... . Enough of the superdelegates that were lining up behind Hillary in 2008 migrated to Obama to secure him the nomination once Hillary could not close the won-delegate gap. If Bernie moves ahead of Hillary in won delegates, the same thing will happen. If Bernie were to win more voter delegates than Hillary and still lose, there would be a cleansing of party of those elected officials who are superdelegates. They are dumb, but they are not so dumb to not seeing that they could personally suffer career blowback if they override the electorate.
Bernie keeps on winning primaries but she keeps on getting delegates. Do the math and you can see that this game was rigged from the beginning. Bernie was probably just included to keep people from going to sleep on the Democrat side and giving all the attention to the Republicans. She will win by getting 100% of the minority vote and because Trump will run off with all the Republican Redneck voters. Cruz would be better off going home to Texas and getting Texans to secede from the US. A lot of them are probably very ready to leave right now.
If Sanders wins New York Clinton is in serious trouble as it could have a tidal wave effect. Currently, the media - which liked to keep elections dragging on in turmoil as long as possible for the $$ profits of the media - is FINALLY raising the question of why should blacks support Clinton?
If Sanders were to win New York and continue winning in the Northeast, I suspect President Obama will then approve his Justice Department publicly announcing the Clinton is being criminally charged over the emails - and then Joe Biden rapidly rushed onto the scene. A private unspoken deal would be made that if Clinton drops out and gives her delegates to Biden then she won't actually be prosecuted. That exact sequence would not suprise me and suspect it has been the Democrat's Plan B if Hillary Clinton crashes. Joe Biden notably keeping himself in the public eye.
I was sure that Biden was the "secret solution", and that he would come riding in to save the Democrat day. He actually had a lot going for him, and, surprisingly, he might have made a pretty good president. FACT: HIllary broke the laws that govern classified information, and national security. She broke them in abundance, in numerous ways, on numerous occasions. It was a foregone conclusion that whether Loretta Lynch wanted to or not, she would have to take the results of the FBI investigation and indict Hillary. Slam-dunk! BUT, then along comes our wonderous President Transparency on March 11th and he issues an edict to the Limousine Liberal donor-class Democrats telling them to get behind Hillary, and for Bernie to just go away. This travesty not only wrecked any chance that Bernie had, it was a clear signal to the head of the FBI (an Obama appointee), the Attorney General (an Obama appointee), and the head of the State Department (another Obama appointee) that "the fix is in" -- do NOTHING to upset Hillary's apple cart.
