The LGBT crowd are pushing non discriminatory bills in 10 states. Which happen to be States that are looking to pass a bathroom law. Demos and the left have started boycotting States that pass the law. Trying to hurt them financially. While imposing their will on other states. Some States are passing laws wherein a Student can sue if the opposite sex is in the bathroom. The leftness doesn't like this.

Bo peeps spokesman Joooosh says the Peep considers this a Civil Rights matter. Says BO will be weighing in on the matter shortly.

Naturally the left has all gone touchy feely over the issue and they think they are doing the Right thing by trying to hurt other states financially. Its clear they haven't looked at the bigger picture. Yet here they are trying to impose their will on others and intervene in other states to get them to do what they want. Which says nothing about using government to intervene and determine a certain version.....of reality.

Legislatures across the country are fighting over issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation.

I wish we would all come to the conclusion, we're just going to have to create single stall unisex bathrooms and mandate them everywhere... you may have an entrance to a "bathrooms" where all can enter, but behind that door, will be ROWS AND ROWS of locking rooms that are completely sealed in like single bathrooms in a home... you will get a single toilet in each room, and a full door, and full walls... nobody will be able to peak over, nobody will be able to peak under, nobody will be able to enter your single room inside a room... lets just force every public school and location to spend millions and get this over with.. I'm done with this being a story...

That'll never satisfy the left, quite the opposite. They want to force you into their fantasy. It's why Bruce Jenner could win 'Woman of the Year' without being a woman for a year or even 10 seconds.

Cmon now.....you know the left won't stop there. Then they will want buttons to push for the flush. As a lever would confuse them.

This is good piece by RCP, it explains what this fight is really about. With the left and BO peep weighing in then.....it is government officially validating the view that gender is no more than what you feel or believe it to be. What say ye?

So why can’t we just live and let live? Bathroom law opponents “are crusading against a tiny minority that poses no real threat,” Jillian T. Weiss, a transgender rights lawyer and activist, wrote in Wednesday’s USA Today. In a way, she’s correct: Demonizing transgender people is unfair in any light. But Weiss also misses the bigger picture behind the bathroom brouhaha. It’s not a fight against people. It’s a fight about reality, and whether the government can dictate a certain version of it. Ultimately, it’s a fight about freedom of thought.

America’s burgeoning bathroom wars, so silly and banal on the surface, are actually quite deep: They fling together two conflicting, wildly incompatible streams of thought. On the transgender side, identity is everything. If gender is truly fluid, and yet truly knowable, then the denial of one’s gender identity is a hurtful denial of one’s very being or self.

If the government agrees that trans men and women can access the bathrooms of their choice, they are officially validating the view that gender is no more than what you feel or believe it to be. They are ruling this view, in their own way, a fact—and if it’s a fact, can anyone really rightfully disagree?

That sounds great, unless you’re an American with traditional views on gender, your kids are in a public school, and the girls’ locker room has just been declared a gender-fluid zone. Alas, my friend; you simply have the wrong thoughts. Sadly, in some cases, that’s when “equality and fairness and justice” don’t really apply.....snip~

how could it NOT satisfy them... now you're being just as hysterical as they are... with all single stall unisex bathrooms where nobody can peak over or under with a locked doro in front, the "problem" is officially solved and done... and we can move forward knowing we all get a private bathroom when we want to use one... are you attempting to suggest, this will not solve the bathroom issue? what is it the left will now compel in bathrooms? mandatory buddy system with a tranny?

Florida wants to make it a misdemeanor for anyone knowingly entering a bathroom that didn't match the sex on their drivers license or passport. The leftness doesn't like that one either.

Another one they want to stop is Rhode Islands bill which they want a law that no one under 18 can go thru conversion therapy.

Will they boycott Rhode Island once that bill becomes a law?

thats essentially what we're going to end up with, except inside the builders they will be required to flush due to building and health codes... all single contained restrooms... might as well start planning every new public building with them to save yourself the cost in the future... I know some have, but they didn't do it because they assume laws will end up this way, they just want to push ideology, but if it were me, I would assume this is how laws will be in the future, and I wouldn't assume to be grandfathered in at all, I would expect it to be a blunt and ugly bill that would force me to remodel in "x" years or face penalties for years to come...

Well we can't let government decide laws over gender, validating.....the view that gender is based on what one feels and believes.

If gender is truly fluid, and yet truly knowable, then the denial of one’s gender identity is a hurtful denial of one’s very being or self.

Not sure why anybody would be advocating that we enable the mentally ill in their delusions. TG is just that--people that are delusional and think they are the wrong gender. The only truly caring thing to do is give them mental health help to change that delusion. We don't allow people who think they are George Washington or Abraham Lincoln to persist in their delusions.

Yeah they haven't figure out.....they were meant to take the experience in the form they came in. For some reason upon creation they pierced the veil to time and are remembering or identifying with what they were in a previous life.

There seems nearly a clean partisan split on the topic.
Democrats want it 100% legal for men legally allowed to hang out waiting to be alone with girls and women in a ladies-only public restroom.
    Republicans what it kept illegal.

It notable that in all such so-called "anti-discrimination" language by Democrats, there is NO prohibition against convicted male rapists, murderers and pedophiles hanging out openly in public ladies restrooms, nor any proof or documentation required of being transgender. A bearded man with numerous convictions for sexual assault - however he is dressed even if in traditional male clothing - could come and go, or hang around in or hiding in a remote outdoor ladies restroom for which no one would have a legal complaint nor could the police do anything. All he has to say is "I'm a woman" as the perfect justification.

^ THIS IS WHAT MANY DEMOCRATS and virtually al Democrat politicians now furiously demand be legalized - and anyone who opposes convicted male rapists and pedophiles prohibited from being in ladies public restrooms is declared a hate-mongering homophobic bigot - though it actually has nothing to do with homosexuality or bigotry whatsoever.

If a state is going to allow a transgender person in the ladies room with my daughter or wife, then I plan to go in there as well with my licensed firearm to protect them.

I actually like those toilets that auto-flush. Sure, I could always flush it myself but there's a happy feeling of being able to get the junk over with, button the pants, wash your hands and just walk out. Without having to think over whether you flushed it or not :D

Hangy down thingy = men's room, no hangy down thingy = ladies room.

This is pure insanity, no question about it.

Not sure how yet, but this is either a misdirection to coverup another government corporate welfare scheme, or is one. Neither party goes to this much trouble unless their is money to be made for the rich/elites.

Whatever it is, it is appallingly disgusting.

I think all the Repub States being boycotted should join together.....get more to join in and boycott the Demos states. See how they like 13 or more financially trying to hurt them.

Then those businesses that will want to return at a later date to expand their market. They should be told go take a hike.

PayPal, a company that happily does business in Singapore—a country that literally outlaws being gay—denounced North Carolina and loudly axed 400 new jobs in Charlotte. Deutsche Bank followed suit, killing its plans for 250 new jobs near Raleigh. According to the Wall Street Journal, at least 100 other companies have expressed their disdain for the bill.

Meanwhile, Bryan Adams, a musician who doubles as a living ’80s time capsule, righteously canceled his North Carolina show, perhaps forgetting, due to his age, that he had recently played in gay-hostile Egypt. Gravel-voiced “hard knocks” crabby man Bruce Springsteen, apparently trying to relive his own glory days, also deep-sixed an upcoming concert in Greensboro.....snip~
