The police officer was far too lenient. This jaywalker was obviously deliberately and maliciously endangering motorists lives for his own personal amusement. We need mandatory minimums to get these inherently evil jaywalkers off the streets, and into prisons, where they belong.

The jaywalker was not responsible for their own actions and needed help.

I'm surprised the Police helicopter was not required, its a big risk to the officer to escort someone like that so close to the general public, anything could have happened and things could have really got out of hand fast.

The police needed his weapon in case the jaywalker tried to bite him thereby infecting him with syphilis or something

I have to wonder if the jaywalker had been long and slithery instead of all cute and furry whether there would have been a different response.....

Say what you like. They grunt like warthogs at night, they pee on your tent if you're silly enough to pitch your tent under a tree, they hang around doing absolutely bloody nothing. But damn they have good PR!

I can't say that I really like koalas that much, but this was cute.
