Transgender in Women's Bathroom (Social Experiment)

Why must people do everything they can to take something offensively when it was not meant as such? No we can't just ban transgenders, it would be wrong in my opinion too. But I would like to see things laid down where all are safe and weirdos can't have an easier time using a loophole from a poorly written law. Hell just look at how illegals take advantage of our laws to get by, same thing.

Secondly again I would rather leave it up to universities and their students to make their own choices. After all they are the ones attending the schools so it should be up to them to govern themselves.

As far as public schools the same, but each school should have its own say and let it be done with. Would be a great way to teach how democracy works. Let them vote on it and then whatever is chosen is chosen.

 

I didn't take it offensively. I just don't see why we can't just continue with the current policy of banning transgenders. Seems to work fine for the vast majority and has done so for a very long time all over the world.

If a trans* can pass well enough not to be detected, no harm done. But don't write laws that suggest that trans* are anything other than weirdos.

Alas! Universities are not free to make their own decisions due to Title IX. The Federal government is going to dictate on this subject.

 

Not really, I know a couple of people who are in fact transgender and they are genuine. It is kind of weird but that is simply how their bodies work. It took me a little bit of time to really understand but I have a pretty good idea now. I am just not for a law that states a guy can just say " I feel like a woman" and he is allowed into the womens bathroom. That is not the safest route what so ever, something more has to be involved because frankly transgenders and those that are backers need to realize that they are not the only ones affected by this. We already have enough sickos who try to pretend they are women and invade womens bathrooms, no need to create a loophole that makes it worse. Things like this take some real conversation, but some are just so damned radical they only care about their own views and try to omit anyone elses thoughts on the matter.

A middle ground can be found, but it takes time and patience.

May be true, but if we cant find a common ground I still think the best thing to do would be to allow each place to have their own say and be done with it.
