People are choosing to be silent. What is the school going to do to you if you don't shut up?

This is why we see conservatives on the decline. We don't stand up for our beliefs. And it's just so incredibly infuriating to me. Why are people scared of a school district? What can they do?

What part of "don't ask don't tell " are you having trouble understanding, this is a non issue I'm not advacating anyone announcing their gender, this is about using the bathroom the only thing you need to announce is "I need to go" as far as which restroom to choose do what you did last month which was don't ask don't tell.
Quit playing the victim, this law is not worth the time or the money, but when they catch a predator following little kids into the bathroom I would rather they didn't have this catch22 to hide behind, just my opinion!

Except the North Carolina law that we're discussing isn't one that supports a "don't ask don't tell" situation. It's one that requires people to use the restroom corresponding to the sex they were assigned at birth when accessing those facilities in places of government or those under government control. It doesn't even allow for an option of "don't ask don't tell". So "use the one you did last month" doesn't apply.

Gee, how dare people complain about stupid laws that endanger people in the name of preventing a problem they don't actually solve.

So you're ok with those examples peeing in the men's room with 6, 7 or 8 year old little boys?

Also, if you think that's what a transwoman looks like you are very ignorant. Do you leave the house when your daughter pees? It's not like you aren't near by when she pees. You wouldn't enter the stall with her in my example...

And again, why have anyone share a bathroom anyway ? do you sit on a toilet with someone else or is it one toilet per person ?
Forget about urinals, those are up for grabs anyway, butt having individual unisex toilets that anyone can use and not share is the solution, no fights as far as gender need occur or laws.
Crime is still a crime and has occurred in traditional bathrooms too....

Precisely. I totally agree with you, I just include multi stall bathrooms in addition to single room bathrooms because to me they are still separate bathrooms. At the airport for example, I still get my own toilet, door, lock trash can etc. even though it's a multi toilet room if that makes sense.

The restroom issue was 'generated' by homophobes, for homophobes; it is one component within a given political agenda.

Then why would there be a reaction like there was in North Carolina? Everyone trying to boycott that State.

Probably a pretty expensive solution to remodel 10s of millions of public bathrooms, for a problem that doesn't exist.

Nonsense. It was the city of Charlotte that generated the bathroom issue, prohibiting owners of public bathrooms from segregating bathrooms.

The problems generated are more expensive than the minor modifications involved, again, businesses remodel all the time and it is no big deal, the bathroom is not a major part of the business, it is a percentage based on the size or area of the business.

Businesses with bathrooms for customers do not count as "Public Bathrooms" Public Bathrooms are operated by a Municipality or other Public Service entity... Parks Department etc...

You are confused. It is the Charlotte city ordinance that that tells businesses how to conduct their business by allowing anyone claiming to be transgendered to use any restroom they like. The State law does not.

Such strong opinions regarding matters you know nothing about. The Charlotte ordinance applies to all businesses open to the public

What problems has segregated bathrooms caused? Other than .0 something % of transgenders who feel awkward using the bathroom that matches their genitals.

They are called Public Bathrooms because they in businesses open to the public and therefore open to the publics use. NOT because they are owned by the public.

Businesses do not operate Public bathrooms as their bathrooms are only for customers, a public bathroom is one that is independent of any private Institution.

You can call them whatever you like and you will still be wrong about the Charlotte law.
