Yes I very well could, and so could anyone else if they so choose.

Maybe it's you who does not have control over your feelings and thoughts. Just because you are limited to believe only what someone tells you too does not mean we all are. Sounds to me like you need to start thinking for yourself more often bub.

    Good luck with all that.

I know, I'm just intrigued by how much he is willing to go with it to try and justify his failed position. Before the day is over he will have dug a grave to fit 30 people.

I hope our counter terror experts are launching a full investigation of this girl and her "family".

So let's do an experiment. Choose to believe 100% that the Catholic Church is the right church for you and then switch back in five minutes.

That's not a very onerous request and if your beliefs are really a choice, you should have no difficulty doing so.

Could very well be as simple as that. We've all been there at one time or another I'm sure.

But the thing is my choice is not to believe so. Like it is my choice to not believe socialism won't work because of the factors of it.

You can't just make someone who thinks for themselves to believe what you want us to believe, that would not be much of a choice at all.

I'm not making you do anything. I'm proposing an experiment that is not onerous. If you can change your beliefs as a matter of choice, then change them and believe 100% in your new beliefs, then change back in 5 minutes.

The time frame is short. It costs you nothing.

But you are avoiding it because you know damn well you can't choose to believe something for which all the evidence you have seen causes you to reject. To believe the Catholic Church was the 100% correct church for you would require entering into a state of cognitive dissonance and you can't do that at will.

That is a question I cannot answer; only she knows the real intent for applying to the Citadel.

I could very well, but I choose not too. It's that simple.

Article 154 of the Iranian Constitution.

The problems in the Middle East stem from US and UK invasion of Iraq.(See above). While fulfilling their treaty with Kuwait was legitimate, invading Iraq was not. And the 2 countries giving rise to IS, do not want refugees they caused.

First of all, a hijab isn't a religious item.

Secondly, her religion is irrelevant. She's applying to the citadel, hillarious that you think they need to make exceptions for anyone. If she doesn't like the uniform policy, she can go to school somewhere else.

The ME has had issues ever since Islam came about and told them to try and conquer the world. They tried, they lost, and now they are pushed back into their little sand boxes and thy can't even get along with each other.

This been messed up way before the USA had anything to do with it.

This is a result of trying to take over everyone else's empires, when they can't even build their own.

Check your history of the latter half of the 20th Century.

Here's a quote that sums things up quite nicely

An answer to the post that Islam says 'kill all infidels'. That's fanaticism that the Christian used.

This wasn't intended to start a 'conversation' as it's not really on the subject of the forum. . Just an 'aside'.

The real point is what I made before. Faced with the decision perhaps to kill a Muslim relative or just a Muslim, where will her loyalty lie.

Exactly why should Muslims be given special consideration??
Give them an inch and they demand a mile.

We have accommodated their fetishes far too much already.

If they do not like our way of doing things they can go back to the land they came from.
