I'm so glad that Democrats are the only politicians who do self serving things.

No response at all.....I come to expect it from the left around here.

This is their go to response for everything.

Obama does something stupid and the justification is 'well, bush did blah blah blah'. The broken record never gets fixed.

This simply puts a human face on the root problems in places like Flint and Detroit.

As seen in other cultures, it appears to me that the black sub-culture has a higher tolerance for political corruption, graft and authoritarianism. I don't judge their preferences; however, there are costs to everything, and social conflict arises when they blame others for those costs. The water crisis in Flint was ultimately caused by decades of political corruption that the citizens either supported or tolerated. Perhaps the response could have been handled better, but I'm willing to give more leeway for decisions made in real-time crisis than to considered choices made over many years. (One can't set their own house on fire and then sit back and criticize the fire department's response.)

In the bigger picture, what's truly criminal here is how so called "black leaders" and many Democrats have ignored this reality for political gain. In short they are willing to sacrifice those (and future) children to gain and maintain power rather than acknowledging and addressing the root issues here. What "greater good" rationalizes this is beyond my current comprehension.

And you can hardly find a negative thread Trump without some conservatives rushing in to condemn Hilary.

The op criticizes democrat as if they are the only corrupt politicians, forgetting why trump is the presumptive nominee of Republican Party.

But "what more can you expect from rwnj?"

When Hurricane Katrina hit you guys had no problem bypassing the democrat mayor and governor and going all the way to Bush, but when it's Flint you stop at the governor. Why?

And don't forget Obama's EPA....let me say that again, 'Obama's EPA.'

You and I are probably the only two guys on this board who knows what D&B means. Quality wives will rise to the top.

Even though Democratic corruption in Michigan comes as no surprise, but this is a civil case being directed by a former employee, at the Mayor. It's a civil case, not a criminal case.

Here's the difference Lite. When a GOP is corrupt, we can the bastard. We did it to Nixon. To Agnew. To any number of other pols who are crooks.

You don't. Liberals defend their crooks forever ... "dindoo nuffin".

So in all candor, take your hypocrite BS somewhere else. When you are ready to condemn such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, then maybe we will let you back into the tall weeds.

First, Trump is clearly ignorant on many important issues, but he doesn't appear corrupt.

Second, there is no, zero, nada risk that the media won't pursue, investigate and report on any hint of Republican corruption. This is clearly not the case for Democrats. When the press fails to do one of its core functions, pressure builds for others to fill that void.

    lol...you did it again.

How does that justify what you said?

Also, that's the OP, they can say what they want, they started the thread.

If it was a response, I'd agree with you about it not contributing anything, but it's not.

"as if they are the only corrupt politicians"

Nothing in the OP hinted that they believed that only democrats are corrupt.

Yes, the right does it too.

And you followed along with EXACTLY what I said the left does a ton of....your response to something is to point out that someone else has done something along the same lines. It's amazing how often a lefty responds this way and never actually addresses the topic at hand.

You're right. When someone makes a blanket comment that calls out an entire group of people, it should never be pointed out, either directly or with sarcasm, that blanket statements are rarely accurate.

What is the difference between the OP saying it and me saying it? How does being a response(that points out truth) instead of an accusation change anything? Did what I say excuse what this woman did? Was there a single word of my post that tried to brush over her actions?

Of course not. What she did was reprehensible.

You made no mention of this in your first post. It was entirely off topic and it makes it look like you're just trying to start a pissing contest by saying 'oh yea, well, look what the right does'.
