    (Best line)-

"...and why, ahead of their national security agenda rollout tomorrow, the House GOP wants to hand the nuclear codes to a person who engages in textbook racism."

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/nancy-pelosi-paul-ryan_us_57582c03e4b0e39a28ac0a51

One ALMOST feels sorry for Paul Ryan. He's trapped...like a mouse in a cardboard box.

He calls Trump a "racist"...but still has to support him. So he leaves himself open to mockery or even being charged (by his own words) with "enabling a racist."

But if he "un-endorses" Trump (as Mark Kirk and Lindsey Graham have)....he faces a backlash from Trump supporters who will blame him for Trump losing in November (unfairly, Trump will destroy Trump).

Plus he's now the Highest Ranking Republican in the Federal Government.....and the Chairman of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland......saying he WON'T support the GOP 2016 Nominee.

Showing exactly how shattered, fractured, smothered and covered the Republican Party is.

So like the mouse, who COULD chew its way out of the cardboard box....Paul will instead stay in the box...

until it's fed to the pet sanke.....a big orange corn snake with a tuft of golden retriever hair on its head :)

Yeah...that pretty much sums it up....he should have stuck to his guns and denied the speakership.

True, he'd be in a much better position to distance himself from Trump....but his ambition got the better of him.

And he didn't see the Cheeto-colored runaway train heading for the washed-out bridge that he'd be forced to board.

The problem with Nancy's criticism as well as CLinton's is that they are unable to grasp is that they are all collectivist arguments. The people who support Trump aren't collectivists.

Yes, and it is also an illogical argument from Clinton. What it does, however, is reflect her hidden belief that the President is all-powerful. She will be her own form of dictator if she even remotely thinks that Trump could be a dictator.

Is this the new talking point now for Libs? Someone already created a thread about it. All of you say the same thing, but you have become a prolific thread starter recently. Do you have a side job now?

    What "talking point"?

Did Paul Ryan, the Republican Speaker of the House, say that Trump's comments about Judge Curiel were "textbook racism"...

    or didn't he????

The Republican establishment is just pissed that the Republican voters didn't fall in line like the Democrats.

Hopefully, this will be the end of the Republican party as we know it. And if it is, the Democrat party will become extinct next.

The leadership of both parties are nothing more than self-serving parasites on the American people.

Trump won't kill the Republican Party.....they'll blame his yuuuge loss on his idiocy and figure out ways to "squelch" them in 2020, probably creating their own Super Delegate system.

He's a one-time phenomenon. In 2020, the "Trump vote" will be split a dozen ways.

I think you underestimate the discontent of their base. The Republican party has already disintegrated. It started with the Tea Party spin off with a block of their voters showing extreme discontent, and then the Party leaders decided they were gonna have another Bush Presidency, which was rejected by the voters from the beginning.

Either the Republican leadership will get back to their roots and stop being the PC, whimp (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es they have become, or there will be no more GOP as we currently know it.

The people have spoken and are tired of this (*)(*)(*)(*).

Why in the blazes would anyone feel sorry for Paul Ryan?

Ryan got it wrong again, as per freaking usual, as sad as that is.

Look, it took me about 5 minutes to look at different directions that this could be tackled from, as far a negative or positive or no difference regarding Trump.

If I could have the awareness to understand that there is an enormous amount of research on the racial bias and impact of the heritage of the judiciary as playing a factor in their rulings...and then lay out that argument citing that Trump calling out a judge with Mexican heritage is bias towards him (just like has been the case for white judges endlessly), then cowardly and ineffective Paul Ryan could have cited that angle as well.

He chose not to. He choose to run the fear, that someone might be offended by the truth. That someone of Latino heritage might be offended by this truth. In other words, Ryan was pandering, which what these scabby politicians on both sides of the aisle always do.

I don't feel sorry Ryan. I feel pity for him, because of his lack of a backbone and frightened PC nature, and I admire Trump for having a backbone and for having a NON PC nature.

No the typical liberal game of twist the words and claim something that was never said. I've seen the movie before here and this is how it starts.

    Have an ordinary day.

Both parties brought it on themselves by letting the Establishment donkeys completely run things.

The collapse for the RNC began during this primary season, when they started either changing the rules or talked about changing the rules. Then the real process of handing out delegates in certain states were revealed, and people started questioning the legitimacy of the Primary Voting/Delegate Appropriation process and got more pissed with the Party leadership.

With the DNC, it was the Superdelegates issue.

I didn't hear any whining when Obama got the codes despite all his racist activity as part of Jeremiah Wright's
flock. I guess that was different.....somehow.

If the Democrats wish to regain themselves in any real way....they need to can the current "leaders" in their party. Pelosi needs to go. Reid is already retiring.
