You are confusing Christianity with Islam.

Jesus teachings in the Sermon on the Mount was certainly enlightened and revolutionary.. He was instructing the Jews how to cope with Roman occupation.. thru non violence .... by shaming the oppressors.

Yes. There is no such thing as a non-violent "terrorist."

Jesus was NOT a terrorist.. The Sicarri and the Zealots were terrorists.. Jesus was neither. He advocated non violent liberation in dealing with oppressors and occupiers.

Gandhi and MLK both studied the Sermon on the Mount..

Okay, but LibChik claims he was a terrorist. Let's give her the chance to explain in what way Jesus was a terrorist.

Fortunately as shown by the latest Trump polls.....folks like the OP are being squeezed out of our politics.

Radical Rightwing "Christians"....who want both a Far Right and Theocratic Government.....perpetual war in the Middle East.....and their Jerry Falwell/Pat Robertson/Kevin Swanson domestic agenda....

simply will not achieve power in this country. Even without Trump, they're isolated to a few nutso Congresspeople....Louie Gohmert, Michele Bachmann......one unlikeable Senator, Cruz......and a few State Legislators who make Himmler and Amon Goeth look like nuns.

They're even losing their Party...the GOP. Younger Republicans are pro-gay marriage rights.

In a generation...maybe two?...the "Religious Right" will go the way of the T-rex.

Barry Goldwater warned the Republicans (see Signature line)....time is fixing the problem.

I'm trying to get the word Christo-phobia or Christian-phobia into the forum lexicon. Only an irrational fear of Christians can explain this kind of behavior.

When did ALL Christians become utterly loyal Republican partisans, Far Right bigots, and warmongers?

I know a LOT of Christians who are none of that....are they "not real Christians"?

lol...he was a terrorist against the Roman state. Personally, I like the historical Jesus but that's EXACTLY why he was executed by the Romans...THEY defined him as a terrorist and a revolutionary.

Typical...another christian who doesn't understand the actual history behind the bastardized belief system they made up. There was NOTHING...absolutely NOTHING...conservative about Jesus Christ. He bucked every single norm of the time...preached revolution...preached tolerance, inclusion, getting rid of churches and priests of the day...he believed in PRIVATE worship, not prothletising...he believed in helping the poor and the sick (not persecuting them like modern day right-wing extremists)...he included women in his movement...he hated money lenders and capitalistic tendencies....I could go on and on.

This is why I dislike the right-wing extremist version of christianity. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ and they literally have violated everything about what the actual historic version of Jesus Christ cared about and stood for. Pathetic....

No rational Christian would agree that liberals have a "fanatical hatred" of Christians.

This persecution complex is the definition of irrational.

Money changers.. They served a different function.. The Pharisees were basically ripping off the poor..

But, Jesus was no revolutionary.. In the first century various Jewish factions were tearing each other apart.. and it was only a matter of time til the Romans stepped in.. The Jews had a civil war.. Vespasian stepped in.. Ultimately the Temple was destroyed.. Jesus preached Non Violent Liberation in dealing with the Roman occupation which was the burning issue of the day.

Hell! Satanists have more respect for Human life than your average Christian does. Put that in your Pipe and smoke it ya clown and get ready for Madam President Hillary Clinton, because it's comin :roflol:

Oh come on you silly goose. Everyone knows that Christians don't count. None of the refugees Obama is admitting into the US are Christian. They are all Muslim. It wasn't Mateen's fault that all those people were killed in Orlando. It was that bad, bad AR-15 that jumped up into his hands and fired of it's own free will, while those magazine changes were forced up Mateen. How can you blame the DOJ and the DHS for allowing a Muslim with known radical leanings and associations for letting off the terrorist watch list? The DOJ and DHS would rather consider Americans of Conservative ilk as terrorists rather than radical Muslims the purveyors of Peace.

Execution is a government act, not an individual one.
