It's worse, Democrats act childish anytime they don't get their way. Lots of name calling too.

They were acting like if they refused to vote nothing could move forward. That is the silent filibuster that 2as dine away with through house rules in the 19th century.

The filibuster is a time-honored Senate tradition.

They are NOT sitting in for "gun control." They filibustered to prevent a vote on gun control. They did their little sit in protesting for an Imperial Presidency and to protest against the federal courts and Congress having any authority at all. It is Democrats protesting against federal courts and Congress, not for gun control laws.

This is one of the things I don't like about the Democrats. They did look childish.

I doubt anyone wants those on terrorist watch lists to legally buy guns, so both parties, and both branches need to iron out the wrinkles and fix this. Acting like '60s hippies is foolish showmanship, and the Republican leadership needs to come up with some solutions.

What a bunch of do-nothing, obstructionist cry babies. They lost, elections have consequences, filibusters are much different than throwing a temper tantrum.

No sit ins for any of the mass killings the government does, or the over zealous police actions. Wonder why now they are taking such a huge stand on gun control that prevents citizens on a watch list from owning a gun. A list that has many errors on it. A list that has zero due process towards getting you name on it. And list where you don't know you are on in till you try to fly some where. Maybe cause all these people want is a military state where only the government has guns and they solidify their power forever?

Why was Mateen even on a watch list anyways? The AG says she doesn't know why he killed 49 people. The left keeps claiming he was a lone wolf. They keep saying it has nothing to do with radical islam or Isis. So what got him targeted by the FBI and put on the no fly list to begin with? If mental gymnastics were an Olympic event, democrats would win gold every time.

I think it's fascinating that American politicians are protesting the fact that they cannot get a bill passed that would remove due process from people on a secret list.

No the problem is that it's a sit in for something that is unconstitutional. The second amendment forbids them from infringing upon the right to bare arms. They're throwing temper fits because they are bound by law.

It's a shame that those civil rights icons (like John Lewis) are protesting to get rights taken away.......

Those people are fascists. They want to tell you what to eat, what to drive, how much money you can make, what temperature to keep you house at, what to wear, what to own, hire much health coverage you should have. They want to control every aspect if your life and be able to target decent easily and deal with it without resistance. That's why they want to ban guns. An armed population is stronger than its government officials. And we can tell them hell no.

Civil anti rights activists. Owning a fire arm is a civil right. It's time for them to change their title.

No, they do it every day at five o clock and every weekend.

That is all well and good, but that doesn't change the fact that a strike with assembly lines being shut down, has a much different coercive dynamic than does a general sit in.

This temper tantrum is as about as illegitimate as it gets. The only way it can legitimately pass is if the legislative branch votes to pass it. Judging by this childish behavior they aren't going to.

Perception is the force. This is politics. Sure it's cynical. It is also how we do things. You think atomic wedgy issues are just for right wingers?

WE borrowed the Republican copy of Sal Alinsky, and now we too can use emotive manipulations.

Democrats throw fits when they lose.

Their measures aren't going to pass. Perception In the wake if the Orlando shooting is that government cannot protect us. This can be seen by the numbers if fire arms sold. New buyers and new niche markets being created.

There are bigger and more thorough agendas than simply will it pass. There is a concept of WORKING THE REFS.
