How the hell did Varys get from Dorn to Mereen to leave with the ships that quickly? Did Daenerys give him the keys to the dragon?

Varys is outside it all
He has his "means".

Interesting finale. Not much more I can say other than that, and that I eagerly await to see season 7.

 

Obviously you posted that before the finale but He could care less about the North beyond the army it can give him. It's the Iron Throne he's after and Jon can give it to him. As for the rest, did anyone really doubt his desires after he did in Lady Arron?

 

Yes, if you look at the post date and time it shows when I posted it first. After tonight, I realize he wants more than just Sansa. He wants the Iron Throne too. AND Sansa. Good luck to him, says I. Dani wants it too.

 

Prediction:

Jon is kicked out of Winterfell when they find out he's not actually a Stark, and ends up marrying Daenerys since he's really a Targareyn bastard.

 

What I'm wondering is if anyone other than Bran ever finds out Jon is a Targaryen or if that was just fan service.

 

Oh, it will come into play eventually down the road as the show progresses. If Bran doesn't get word to him, the girl with him, will. But I think Bran will wind up back with Jon, Sansa and probably Arya.

Amd how freaking awsome is Lady Mormont? Let's put her on the Iron Throne.

 

Iv had the same theory for a while now. It makes perfect sense and it would be extremely strategic decision for both of them. This episode also for shadowed it with Dany cutting ties with Dario. 1,000 bucks this is how it will play out. Jon and Dany on the Iron Thone. Sansa Wardeness of the North and the Vale (possibly even the Riverlands). Then you have Yara and the the Dorne chick who's name I forget in their respective lands.

 

I think Arya has it all in the end. Everyone else kills each other off.

Or not, the problem here with only 10 episodes left is how they're going to tie the whole thing up. I realize it doesn't have to be perfect but it should be something more than just another chapter in this ongoing millienials long history we have here. Most of these really long stories founder on this, in fact I can't think of any that really end with any sort of satisfaction, beyond maybe Lot R

 

Oh, I hope Arya doesn't wind up with it all. That would be a horrible ending.

 

My guess how this will play out. Dany arrives on the Iron Islands to hammer them into submission and feel out for support from the King of the North and House Tyrel who both have a grudge against Cersei and going to the Small Folk directly for their support to her claim. Then she will wait, make key alliances and strike deals likely offering Jon Snow independence for the North, help against the White Walkers when they attack the Wall and she gets his aid in backing her army marching South. Tyrel will get a good shot at revenge for a slaughtered member of the family and a former assassination. Then she will march to take the crown by force if needed assuming she survives the war with the Night King. Cersei on her end will be dealing with Dorn, Tyrel and likely spinning that attack on the faith on Dany to get some support making this a holy war to defend the faithful and all that.

In the end it will be one or the other lady sitting on the throne once the dust is settled. Arya is the wild card she might kill her before then who knows.

 

Dany and John snow are getting hitched. Calling it.

That or Jon and Lady Mormont. Jon is definitely 1 of the 3 heads of the dragon though, no matter how he and Dany work out.

 

After a long time of speculation and finally being revealed in last night's season finale that Jon Snow is Dany's nephew, you still think they'll go that route?

Well....he's still a Stark. His mother was a Stark so Ned is his Uncle instead of his father.

 

Sure. Daenerys's parents were full siblings. So the royals throughout the 7 kingdoms seem to practice a lot of incest. A nephew is practically a stranger in that world.

Interesting idea. Consider that the real battle will be against the White Walkers. Daenerys Targaryen's eventual entry into that battle with three fire breathing dragons, may be a good reason for marriage. One small problem with that, Daeny's actually related to Jon Snow.

 

Targaryen's are well known for inbreeding. Plus, only Bran knows this.

I don't think Jon will marry her. I bet Robbin will since he actually has the army. I bet Jamie or Tyrian kills Cersey. Aryia kills the mountain after the hound puts up a good fight but is out matched by the zombie. Sansa has had enough with being a bride, and probably is pregnant with Ramsey's kid and will live out her days as a widow and wardeness of the north.

Last thing I have heard, there will be 2 more seasons, but with only like 7-8 episodes each instead of 10. I really cant wait for the 6th and 7th books to be released really. Doubt they will bring back Catlyn Stark as Lady stone heart.

My last guess is that the baby Targaryen that was supposedly killed by the mountain will pop back up after being in hiding and will be the "3rd head of the dragon".

 

Interesting take on it. Hmmmm.

Meanwhile, whatever will we all do when it ends for good?
