None of the Rockefellers are Forbes 400 anymore.

    Sic transit gloria.

Like the Astors, Vanderbilts, Carnegies, and Joseph Kennedy's clan, the Rockefellers are sinking back into the hoi polloi from whence they came. In a couple decades the progeny of Jophn D. Rockefeller will be as forgotten as the family of Thomas Fortune Ryan.

I am sorry but this is a truly naive statement.....

The first private billionaire the world has ever seen, whom amassed such a wealth less than a hundred years ago (barely now), has spent his money? The family keeps close private records of their overall fortunes, but combining the estates would be worth an untold fortune.

Just like the Rothschild family, their wealth has been spread among their descendants. However unlike the Rothschild family as I said earlier, their family net worth is held in private records.

Rothschild family has an estimated wealth of 400 billion dollars. I would expect the Rockefella family to be similarly positioned.

As symbols, the Rockefellers are diminishing as fast as the Kennedies.

    Taxcutter asks:
Estimated by whom? Is there any particular reason I should assign any credence to this estimate?

Interesting goal if they can accomplish it. I dont think it can be done in 8 to 9 years time personally, but I hope they do and go past the 50% mark.

in 2008 oil was up to 150 a barrel
in 2009 was in the 40's
in 2010 to 2014 it floated from the 70's to 100's
in 2016 we are at 50 a barrel.

What do you consider cheap enough to make Green energy work and what do you consider to expensive for Green energy to work?

Litwin I hate to burst your bubble, but Russia will always have what the world needs, and if it ain't oil and if it ain't gas, and if it ain't timber, and if it ain't wheat, and if it ain't coal, and if it ain't diamonds, etc., etc. ... it's gonna be water... And guess what? Russia has plenty of water ...and it's going to start delivering it to nations in need..

You have a real obsession with Russia Litwin, I suggest you take a deep breath and take it easy, because Russia is going to be around for a long, long time.
