The Gaza resistence shares with the Warsaw ghetto the tactical limitation of fighting from within a prison camp surrounded by the superior armed forces of the attacker. This is not war according to classical European rules.

The killing of the girl, like the killing of Palestinian children by the IDF, does not have a goal of bringing peace. The mission is victory, not peace. In the case of the Palestinians, victory means expelling the aggressor from their land. That is the path to peace. The Jews don't want peace either; they too want victory. Please show me on a map how exactly is Gaza surrounded by the IDF (that's what you mean by "superior armed forces of the attacker", is it not?).

In this specific case, victory for the Palestinians would mean expelling the Jews from their own Jewish land, for the second time in less than 100 years.

The land on which the Jewish settlement of Hebron stands has been bought by Rabbi Malkiel Ashkenazi in the 16th century. It legally belongs to Jews. Yes, Jews have lived in Hebron for a very long time, and returned there after being expelled by the British in 1929 following a pogrom. Natives, I'd say.

For your information - Gaza Strip area = 140 sq. miles. Gaza City are = 17 sq. miles. Gazan terrorists have all sorts of fields, beaches, pastures and villages to fire rockets from, and yet they launch exclusively from Gaza City. Should I tell you why they do that?

The Gaza Strip is one of the most densly occupied places on Earth. It is at best a Bantustan, at worst a a prison. I have actually been there twice. you seem to think it would be more sporting for the Resistance to set up its operations in open spaces directly under the observation of the IDF. That is not the way war works.

Israel has Gaza under complete military control. This makes Israel the "occupying power" as defined in the Fourth Geneva Protocol. Whether the conquest of Gaza is legal or not doesn't change the restrictions under international law that Israel is obligated to observe. Israel does not want to do the dirty door-to-door military sweeps necessary to disarm and arrest the resisting militias because Jews are highly casualty-averse. They prefer indiscriminate artillery attacks from a distance. The IDF are spoiled cowards. None on active duty now have fought in a real battle. They bomb Gazan civilians the way Mussolini attacked civilians in Ethiopia. It is a war crime that the Muslim world will never forgive or forget. This is their Holocaust.
