So? Under the 20th amendment his term ends at noon on Jan 20th, 2017. No ifs, ands or buts. If there was no President elect, it just means that Biden would briefly serve as President while Congress selected an interim President to serve while a President Elect was chosen. So even Biden would only serve for a matter of hours.

But as for Obama, no mater what, his term ends at the stroke of noon on this next Jan 20th. He will no longer be Commander in Chief, no longer President, he will have no official capacity whatsoever.

I don't think reforming gun laws will really help. It's the tensions at the root of American society which need to be eased. Switzerland is just a really chill place for the most part.

 

Legalize and tax pot, decriminalize and treat hard drugs, and most problems would disappear. See inner city gangs, Taliban, El Salvador etc etc etc gangs. A $15 min wage and the rest would. See sig. and Australia/NZ/Portugal...
