    OH Lord........

Trump told House Republicans Thursday he will make sure to protect the Constitution if he becomes president -- including a non-existent Article XII.

Students and Alumni of Wharton and U of Penn have written against Trump.

Initially they just thought of him as that goofy guy on the Apprentice.. Its a scathing letter and the signatures keep growing.

Ships that go underwater and bayonets are obsolete. :eyepopping:

Al Qaeda is being decimated and is on the run.

    The police acted stupidly.

If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.

While endorsing Hillary Cankles “I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office."

Sorry but the stupidity score is Obama 1/ Trump 275. Trump wins the stupidity bowl by a landslide.

Weak. Most of those aren't even blunders, just statements you disagree with.

You could write a book on all incoherent crap Donald has spewed... just in June.

Obama referred to a Navy corpsman as a "corpse man" three times in just a few minutes, it was no blunder just an affirmative action college student who skated his way through Occidental and Columbia.

As Commander in Chief Obama is suppose to know that ships don't go under water unless they have been sunk. Submarines are boats not ships.

Al Qaeda wasn't being decimated and was in the run. It was just another Obama lie to be given a second chance in November of 2012.

This is a nonsensical opinion of those that either never read or don't understand the US Constitution. Article I expressly establishes the Congress has the authority to call forth the well regulated "militia" necessary for a free state, referenced in the 2nd Amendment, to suppress any insurrection against the Constitutional government of the United States. The belief that the right to keep and bear arms protected by the 2nd Amendment is so that the people can rebel against the US government has always been nonsense.

The SCOTUS can't actually violate the US Constitution although it can allow unconstitutional laws and actions remain in place. The SCOTUS does not create laws nor does it take any direct action on the enforcement of the Constitution or the law. Laws are created by Congress and the Executive Branch is responsible for all federal government actions including the enforcement of Supreme Court decisions.

I would argue that all presidents in recent history have violated the US Constitution but Obama is one of the least offenders. While he probably didn't say it nothing sums up former President Bush's administration more than the claim he said, "Stop waving the Constitution in my face, it's just a ******ned piece of paper." He might not of said it but he certainly acted based upon that belief as president.

At the same time Congress has been far more egregious in violating the Constitution than the President.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the "militia" part. Keep reading, and get back to me when you finish.

I'll keep reading in the future but any belief that the 2nd Amendment was included in the US Constitution to empower the people commit treason by attempting to overthrow the Constitutional government of the United States is delusional. The founders created the Constitutional Republic of the United States from ever becoming a government of absolute despotism that, based upon the Declaration of Independence, would justified treason and rebellion against it.

Only traitors would ever advocate overthrowing the Constitutional government of the United States and they rightfully belong in prison for treason for even suggesting it. If they're not going to be sent to prison then they should be the first ones that have any (fire)arms they possess confiscated from them.

It seems so out of place, in the bill of rights, that there is one which lists a right meant exclusively for Congress, when all the rest are rights for the people. Don't want to go off topic any further, but it must be tough to interpret one amendment as being a mere reiteration of a power granted to Congress with a straight face, when none of the others do that and it seems so random a reiteration.

Would it not seem odd if, say, after the protection against unlawful search and seizure, the bill of rights randomly restated its age requirements for President? I guess that would seem sensible to you, if you really believe what you claim about the 2nd amendment.

Congress can propose Constitutional amendments but that is all. Only the State legislatures have the power to ratify an Amendment and if they want to change the criteria for the office of president then they have that power.

It certainly can. They did when they took judicial review upon themselves for starts. Its not in the constitution. They all have violated it but Obama is the biggest offender.

Yes the liberal congress has done the most damage.

Yea, I think you missed the point.

But back to this important issue of Trump misspeaking. I don't want to derail such a sophisticated intellectual journey by bothering you to teach me middle school social studies. Thanks anyway, but I will go enroll at the local middle school first, and then come back and talk ratification with you. See ya.

No argument from me but Hillary Clinton is a despicable slime-bag politician and the Democrats are getting just what they deserve as well.

That's what amazes me about both Democrats and Republicans. It appears as if they're making every attempt possible to select the worst possible candidate for president. This is reflected by the fact that for the first time in the history of the United State both of the top two candidates for the presidency (i.e. Democrat and Republican) have negative approval ratings. The Democrats and Republicans have clearly driven the presidential elections into a selection of "the lesser of two evils" where both candidates are "evil" in the eyes of the American people. It's becoming a choice between "Hitler and Stalin" for Americans and we only have the Democrats and Republicans to blame for that.

They mutually embrace political censorship to ensure that the American people effectively can only choose between "Hitler and Stalin" which, while exaggerated, is what Americans face in November...... unless Gary Johnson can overcome the political censorship and make it into the Presidential Debates. I'm a Libertarian that understand that Gary Johnson is historically a Republican with libertarian leanings as opposed to being a true Libertarian but at least he's a responsible and respectable politician with integrity that neither Trump or Clinton can claim to be.

Trump does not "misspeak" because he doesn't have the knowledge necessary to make an intellectually accurate statement on virtually any topic. "Misspeaking" refers to a person with knowledge inadvertently making a mistake but Trump doesn't reflect enough knowledge when it comes to the US government and issues to make a misstatement. He's just an idiot lacking the knowledge to accidently misrepresent the facts.

that is not libertarian at all, are you suggesting people be put in prison for even suggesting the second amendment was for defending against government tyranny from any government which becomes tyrannical?

also along that line of thought, would you consider a government tyrannical if it allows warrant less spying of its citizens, indefinite detentions of its citizens without trial or charge, extra judicial assassination of its citizens with drone strikes, etc..?

Says the exceptional genius who thought I was pushing to change the age requirements for President in post #41.

See here for a very technical and sophisticated examination of Congressional powers at work:

Glad I could contribute substantively to this mind blowing discussion. We are so much smarter than Trump!
