That is just beyond evil.

 

As opposed to the States where a crazy will silently, calmly and relentlessly mow people down with a gun and then eat the barrel or get shot by the cops, here the guy will run around screaming maniacally out of his mind as if on bad LSD stabbing and slashing until exhausted and then just stop and wait for the cops or, in this case, walk down to the police box and turn himself in. Then, depending on several things, they will hang the guy in a couple of years. Sometimes in the "detention centre" next door to my place.

This loon was apparently fixated on developing some program for euthanising the elderly, or so the paper says..

Why would that be the question? Name a recent shooting in the US where an "automatic weapon" was used.

Obama said it doesn't happen in other advanced industrialized countries, yet in Europe, and now in Japan, they are happening. Apparently he was wrong.

I don't think anyone has ever said attacks are exclusive to guns.
I don't think anyone has said only the USA sees attacks.

But only where and what weapon is used the most.

Not necessarily. Knives cut cleanly and the bleeding is intense. Bullets often cauterize. Also, while you must pause to reload and can run out of bullets or jam the gun. A knife never jams, never runs out of blade, and never has to pause. So that narrows it down quite a bit.

I said ' no one said attacks don't happen in other places'. Your link talks about mass attacks and the frequency in which they occur.
The USA, seems to have more than other places. More frequency.

 

Possibly. But collectively, one is 10-15 times more likely to be beaten or stabbed to death than shot to death by someone using an assault type rifle.
