Here's why I can't stand the federal government. Independent states can legalize pot for their citizens through a public vote- and the government can swoop in and shut it all down. All these conspiracy theories I heard in the past about the money made by keeping it illegal are now sounding more and more real. If you can grow something in your back yard with the biggest side effect being a slower reaction time than normal, and you constantly want a cheeseburger...that seems like a no brainer to me. Why do they need further testing? How many dudes named Moon Dawg do you need to put in a lab, make him hit a bong, and watch him laugh at the wall, before the DEA realizes how stupid this is? How high does this thing go? No pun intended.

It all has to do with forfeiture laws surrounding the "war on drugs". Everyone is getting rich from drug sales, why would they end it?

There's a bunch of states that have devices now that, if they pull you over and they find imaginary "marijuana flake", can scan things like pre-paid debit cards and steal the money from them.

I just think this war on drugs is a violation of our rights. Man. I'm getting more and more libertarian as the days go by. I think if a state wants to have pot legalized, the federal government shouldn't be able to say "nope it's illegal everywhere. Sorry".

to all of those who think the "war on drugs" is about health, money or even morality - nonsense. as with every other move that the constantly expanding globalist movement has made, it's about control. though the individualist tendencies of the common man often thwart the powers of centralized control, inroads are constantly made on the war against individual liberty. the "war on drugs" is just one of such control measures. the more we are willing to accept such limitations on our freedom, the easier it is to institute more and more. eventually anything that the power structure claims is dangerous, unhealthy or immoral will be seen as such by the general population and its restriction by authority as necessary and right. we already see this with most segments of the liberal drone population.
