I really hope throw thread continues to its maximum size. It would be great to be able to reference hundreds of posts of Rightwingers supporting death squads and extrajudicial murder next time Cons want to claim they own rule of law.

I think so.. He's turned vigilantes loose to kill addicts and dealers in the streets.

His answer shows a lack of respect for human life and is devoid of empathy.

. . . .You might be surprised. . . .I suspect that your own fan club has mixed feelings on this issue.

Fan club? Dream much? Anyways, what you say reeks of contrived pathos. I like facts, not emotional writing requiring a chamois cloth for tears.

But why would "a nut job control freak who hates individual liberty" want to leave the UN?
Isn't the UN the official club for nut jobs and dictators?

I find your avatar to be evidence of disdainful condescension and your own imagined superiority, which somewhat explains your lack of concern. I do not wish for the perception of my message to be tempered or distorted by a picture.

Life without emotion is only survival. Incidentally, disagreement is an emotional response, as emotions define our differences.

Kids abandoned by a parent usually idealize them, to the detriment of the caretaker parent. Obama is just being normal here.

Apparently Davao is the safest city in the Philippines, he was elected on this very platform, and the people there are enjoying a safer society.

Depends on what countries also, there are many Islamic countries (such as Iran), that put you to death for drinking alcohol.

In some airports I've been through they have gigantic "Death to Drug Traffickers" signs all over the place.

Actually I spent a great deal of time in the Philippines, so I'm pretty sure I know a whole lot more than you on the subject.

I'm not playing your little games.

If you have some kind of evidence, present it, and we can debate it.

I'm not going to say "oh gosh sure obviously that salon article is solid proof of everything" without reviewing it.

    Stop being childish.

The death squads and cops in the Philippines are killing innocent people and getting away with it by just saying they are drug dealers or users. There is zero oversight.

The people in the Philippines have been fighting the Islamists in Mindano for many years, its an issue that predated this.

Who are we to decide what the Filipino people want? This is what he told them he would do if he was elected, and they elected him anyway.

Drugs in the Philippines is a massive problem, most of it coming from Chinese and foreign drug lords. The people are tired of it.

The drug dealers were given a choice: leave the country and never return, turn themselves in to be jailed, or die. Most of them have been turning themselves in in droves, or leaving the country. Some of them are fighting back and being killed.

It may be a bloodbath, but the bloodbath caused by the drug lords have been going on for years. Where has the international community been while they have been killing tens of thousands a year in the Philippines?

We need to stay out of it. It's their country, and this is what they wanted.

Conjecture. You know nothing on the subject.

And you are taking death squads at their word that they aren't killing innocent people.

How can you support murder? Let me guess, you are a conservative who "believes in the rule of law" and who is going to vote for Trump, yes?

Perhaps Barrypuppet should worry more about the human right violations of USA.INC and their support of mercenary groups like ISIS/ al qaeda before he sticks his nose into the affairs of other countries? How about doing something about the land grab of the Bureau Of Land Management that is using mafia style tactics to run farmers and ranchers off of their land? If the Barrypuppet were to worry about the injustices in this country? He would have all he could handle and then some.....but we know that he won't because he is just a puppet on a string.

So you'd approve of giving government the power to execute their citizens without trial or oversight just by calling them drug dealers or users?

What I approve of is irrelevant. I'm not a citizen of the Philippines.

The people's whose opinion matters have given him the highest marks of support of any President in their history.

Here's what I do know: illegal drugs kill tens of thousands of filipinos each year and is getting progressively worse. Duerte has killed about 2000 drug dealers. Crime has had a double digit drop. Tens of thousands of drug dealers have turned themselves into the Police.

You think our country isn't killing thousands of people a year fighting drug cartels?

Hell, Fast and Furious has killed more innocent people by itself than anything that's been done in the Philippines.

Being a critic is an easy job, you should stick with it.

What our country does is no different, Duerte is just honest about it, and his people support him.

How many thousands of Mexican innocents have died by this administration selling guns to drug cartels in Mexico?

How many thousands of South Americans have died by DEA action in those countries? Of course thats to maintain their supply, not stop it.

I haven't said nothing.. and I am not supporting Hillary. http://www.politicalforum.com/warfare-military/329485-inconvenient-results-obamas-drone-policy.html

You're making these broad assumptions and you're not even in the ballpark. Look, what is happening in the Philippines is deplorable, that should be something everyone can find agreement on.. it's a no brainer

I think politics played more of a part in it this time around, he was too busy trying to be black.

I'm married to a Filipino, have a house and a business there so am very concerned. And you, what is your interest other than to give glib comments about my avatar and to condemn a guy who is conducting a long overdue cleanup operation of his nation using the only tools available for lack of funds with a 91% approval rating?

Can you source your claim that F&F has killed more innocent people than the death squads in the Philippines?
