Clinton was famous for his apologist tours but obama has taken it to a new level, he doesn't just apologize for America he trashes us.WTF kind of president travels the world berating his own country?

" What is it about traveling abroad that seems to encourage President Obama to unload all manner of grievances on the United States? For whatever reason, traveling abroad appears to help crystallize everything wrong he sees in America. During his recent trip to Cuba and Argentina, for example, we counted 18 separate times he talked down his employer, the United States of America.
His just-concluded trip to Asia was no different.
Here are 18 separate attacks he unloaded while in China and Laos:
There are still too many poor children in the United States
Too many children in America are not getting enough to eat
Despite America's wealth, we’re not providing sufficient educational resources in poor communities
America lacks the “political will” to help poor inner cities that have suffered discrimination.
Americans are “lazy” in thinking we don’t need to learn about foreign nations.
Colin Kapernack is justified protesting the National Anthem, as the NFL star is raising “real, legitimate issues” about things America needs to be talked about.
America suffers from racism, conflicts between ethnic groups, and discrimination against immigrants.
Criticisms of America being imperfect and having problems with racism discrimination are accurate.
America still has “situations where women are not treated equally.”
America “didn't think through” our policy in Vietnam War, as dropping cluster bombs proved counterproductive to "winning hearts and minds."
America’s treatment of Native Americans was “tragic.”
America “struggled to stay true” to our founding ideal that all men are created equal.
When the environment is destroyed in America, it’s because the private sector is being “lazy."
The United States is still to this day learning how to develop industry without destroying the environment.
Due to industrialization, America “used to have terrible pollution … everywhere.”
America’s role in the Vietnam war led to mass displacement of people from their homes.
America dropped more bombs on Laos than on Germany and Japan during World War II … more than 2 million bombs … “the bombs fell like rain.” More bombs, he said on several occasions, were dropped on Laos per capita than anywhere else in the world.
We bombed the “simple homes” of civilians in Laos. “Villages and entire allies were obliterated.” The ancient Plain of Jars “was devastated.” Countless civilians were killed. "

This is called "being realistic," for those of you under the delusion that America is a guilt-free perfect country.

Good think Obama hasn't outlawed sarcasm like Kim Jon-un or you could have been arrested for that.

I agree, he is being realistic but what makes him and all the other politicians a disgusting pile of feces is that they know what is wrong, and if they had the balls, they could fix it. Your beloved "gubermint" is a foreign owned corporate entity and the politicians that are in D.C are nothing but corporate officers voting by proxy for the international bankers that claim ownership of it.

Most Americans know that this country is far from perfect, and, like other countries, it has its history too.

But as president, is it necessary for Obama to always preach America's problems and mistakes to every foreign country? How often do we hear other international leaders, during their travels to other countries, always apologize for the historical mistakes of their country?

Never mind historical mistakes. This time he called us lazy! What an embarrassment. It's what we get for electing someone the Founders would've never saw coming, the bastard son of a King's subject (a Muslim) and both America hating parents. In wartime against Muslim terrorists, no less. (*)(*)(*)(*), we're stupid. All you had to do was read his book to know what he thinks of us. And you morons voted for him anyway. Hell, some of you voted for his because of it. Suicidal maniacs, the lot of you.

Being realistic, the Laotians aren't half as educated as Americans, and probably know very little about their neighbors affairs, let alone international affairs. We sit here and discuss international affairs every day. Do you really think there's any significant portion of the Laotian population at their computers discussing world affairs with people from all over the world? Rather, do you think they're anywhere nearly as informed or have near the access to information as us? Hell no, they don't. For the president to tell them how great they are and how dumb we are is not realistic. It's stupid. And it serves no diplomatic purpose.

Why don,t you provide the actual quotes so we can debate whether he trashed America or not.

Mentioning the fact that we dropped more bombs on Laos tan we did on Germany and Japan assuming test the numbers are correct then that is not trashing but if true it,s would be a fact.

Why don,t you start with the exact quote about Kapernick .. I do not agree with Obama and his view of Kapernick but what you stated is not what Obama said. Don,t translate, don,t edit, don,t shorten, don,t but just post the exact quote and we can go from there. All that you have done thus far is make accusations, stated opinions( ok opinions are fine but lablrv your opinions as such), and you trashed Obama.

From the link you obviously didn't look at.
‘We’re a nation that was founded on the belief in the dignity of every human being; sometimes we’ve struggled to stay true to that belief’

What you are attempting to evade with dissection of everything he said is the fact that obama went to foreign countries and bad mouthed America instead of talking about all the good we have done in the world. The man obviously thinks we are not a force of good but instead a force of evil and want to convey his personal feelings on this. Never before in history have we had a president that hates America but we sure do now

    He may have trashed America.
But least he didn't praise Putin also.

Trump usually does both in the same speech.

That depends on how often we listen to what other country leaders are giving speeches about when the US is not present.

With Vietnam and Cambodia being neighbors to Laos, that would be considered international. Anyway i don't know what Laotians discuss on a day-to-day basis.

    I found a direct link to Obama,s words ,,

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/05/president-obamas-full-statement-on-colin-kaepernick/

I am using an iPad today so I am not good at copy pasting long items but if you open it you will see that Obama said that Kapernick is exercising hus Constitutional rights. I thought that Obama,s statement was not strong in favor nor against what Kapernick was doing. I sound gave preferred if Obama had said that Kapernick had a Cknstitutional fight yo dobwhatvhecwas doing but I would have much mire preferred if Zobama had said that Kapernick should gave used a different method to present hus protest.

Still that us a fat cry from " trashing" the US.

BTW Obama was responding to a reporters question. Some rabid ZObama gathers make it sound as if Obama must says things about the US for he hell of it.

This proves that, in addition to his other faults, Trump is not fit to lead this country being anti-American.

Quite often including Germany to its Holocaust victims. Willy Brandt's gesture to kneel at the Warsaw Ghetto Monument set a bar that can never be topped. Even the most resistant to express contrition, Japan, took a bold step last year when their Emperor broke with his government and apologized to the world for its role in WWII. Britain has had to apologize to just about everyone and the Queen's demonstrations of contrition in Northern Ireland by visiting Croke Park were symbolic of the mistakes made in that country.

Recognizing that wrong was done costs nothing and helps heal wounds. It demonstrates that America can be introspective and compassionate.

What he said about the bombs in Laos was 100% true. Whoever made those bombs was incompetent. It they are still making them we are in deep trouble.

People in Laos use our bombs as building materials for their houses. http://www.reuters.com/news/picture/photos-of-the-week?articleId=USRTSN2BG

You still fail to see the big picture here or should I say choose not too. I won't play your game and go into detail on each and every diss obama made on America while overseas. It is the steady drumbeat of negativity and disdain he has when he talks about this country that is the subject here. Nice try at obfuscation though.

Changing the subject because you can't defend Obama's behavior

True or not obama dwells on every mistake America ever made and every fault it has and never sings it's praises which far outnumber its flaws.

If Laos would adopt capitalism and I'm sure there's more than a few wannabe entrepreneurs in Laos, there's a whole lot of money to be made in the scrap metal business.
