France has plenty of terrorism, from the part of their demographic that is from the countries I mentioned.

Just because France was stupid enough to allow them in does not mean we should be.

And yeah, obviously when you're talking about Israel you'd be blocking those committing the terrorism, not the victims of it.

The intrinsic problem is that people from those areas of the world cannot be truly vetted.

We do not owe them anything, it is not a right for them to come to the US. Canada (and most countries) have much stricter immigration policies and at a minimum we should tighten US immigration.

We should allow immigration from countries whose culture is compatible. There is nothing but misery to be gained by importing people from violent cultures, as we have clearly seen.

Do we want to become like Europe which is already starting to fracture from this clash of third world culture?

 

Most of them probably are Muslims, but there are a few Muslim countries where terrorism and violence, hatred of gays and abuse of women is not pervasive.

These countries in the ME are ranked worst in the world when it comes to human freedoms, so it's understandable how they are not compatible with western culture.

 

And Hillary is for sure going to continue in Obama's footsteps. He has been backing her from the beginning. Trump is for stopping this. A much better choice.

 

So Syrian Christians trying to escape the violence are not welcome?

They are welcome when we get our vetting procedures in line and find out how to phase out the bad from the good. Our first priority is the safety to the citizens of our own country before giving out a helping hand.

There's no reason to bring them to the US to get them away from the violence.

In fact, bringing Syrians to the US means we help even fewer people, due to the cost.

There's no reason we cant set up safe zones in or around Syria and help more people than we currently are.

Besides, Syrian Christians aren't being helped by the current administration anyway. They're the ones currently receiving the least amount of help.

See here's the thing: Israel kind of screwed itself over A: With the West Bank settlements and B: Disregarding Gaza/Palestinians, when rationally speaking if there is indeed a "Greater Israel", that includes those areas as well. Israel has a choice: Continue that miserable existence of two so-called quasi-states, or finally govern in conjunction with the Palestinian Authority.

The BIGGER benefit for us, is that we're not adjunct to these people like Israel is. For US, the system is a million times more effective. It means the few flies that get in here, WON'T be getting in here anymore. It actually increases rights for Muslim-Americans(presuming of course, that they're okay with the cost of being a US Citizen under a time of national duress from a foreign enemy.)

Everyone wins. No more attacks on innocent Muslims by xenophobes, and no more suspicion of every Muslim under the sun. It makes sense to stop being an ostrich, and actually address our freaking problems.
