Ignoring the point of this thread - blacks who are put down by law enforcement when they are clearly a threat. Those incidents are protested with equal vigor as when they are unarmed. Being unarmed, consequently, does not mean they are not a threat, but at least an argument could be legitimated.

If you refuse to comply with lawful orders of police and such refusal constitutes an articulable threat, then you are very likely going to go home in a body bag.

Black people being murdered is indeed a troubling epidemic. It makes one wonder why Black Lies Matter doesn't direct its energy at the leading murderers of black people: other black people.

But it's perfectly fine if they are murdered by each other. That is the message of Black Lies Matter. Apparently you agree.

If you cared about the murder of black Americans, you'd be looking first at other black Americans. They are the leading murderers of black Americans.

What an assinine statement. If the police were shooting people for being black, you'd have just about every black person already shot. The tens of thousands of law enforcement contacts every month with African Americans that end in not so much as a heated word absolutely disproves the verbal diarrhea you are trying to pass off as an argument.

I think shooting kids with toy guns is wayyyyyy overreacting. Are there instances where this is necessary? Of course - if a teen all of a sudden whips out a realistic looking toy gun and aims it at police, it's natural for them to react with force. One of those things which really depends on the situation.

Which is why I support police body cams for the safety of all involved.
