Below is a blinding flash of the obvious - Trump cannot win tonight. It's a simple case of ignoring the polls and looking at the math of the electoral college. Trump might be close in the polls but when voting starts that doesn't matter; the electoral college votes count and he can't do it.

    The article below explains why.

Oh my, I work in the casino industry and what you've found my friend is extremely rare: a sure thing. Bookies are paying $1.21 on Hillary winning the election, so I strongly suggest that you don't let this sure thing pass.

Quick, cash out everything you can: shares, bank accounts, sell anything you can in time. Bet it all on Clinton winning the race. I'm going to do the same right now.

Thankyou so much, you have just made me a guaranteed 21% profit with no risk. I can't believe that the bookies even allow this.

    I owe you my life.

So the five toss ups , are they early voting states? And I wonder home many of the Dems solid nineteen states they own are early voting states.

Election Betting Odds currently gives the reality tv performer about a 20% chance, and FiveThirtyEight about 28%.

It's not over until it's over, but Trump® should have his gracious concession speech prepared.

Can you imagine Hillary still campaigning if it weren't for this warmer than normal weather? She should thank her stars for global warming or she'd have been laid up in bed with pneumonia weeks ago.

In the event you fell asleep in biology class or were preoccupied playing with your pudh pneumonia us caused by either bacteria or a virus not by the weather.

But don,t let the facts get in the way of your sexual attachment to Trumpeizda.

That equates to 5 to 1 odds in favour of Hillary. Certainy not a sure thing, but pretty bad for Trump if one is looking at this as a predictor of the outcome of the presidency.

Well there's always the chance of a polar express on inauguration day. Presidents have been known to get sick and die from it before.

    Trump has ZERO chance. NONE.

And, he NEVER had a real chance.
(Except in the minds of people who don't understand Electoral Math).

So yeah, as to the OP, Trump is OBVIOUSLY toast.

Did you read the OP? Trump cannot win. A 21% return is incredible. One of the great sure thing investment opportunities of our lifetimes.

Unprecedented. I really need to give my appreciation to Doug for changing my life in such a substantial way. I will remember this OP until my last breath.

The highlighted bits are incorrect. Nevada means he needs a leaning Democrat state. He also doesn't need Virginia. He could certainly use it, but it isn't the best option.

For what it's worth, "The Impendent" is a left wing rag. "Independent" it ain't.

If the polls, on balance, are correct in their turnout assumptions. We will know fairly quickly once the results are available to test the polls.

I'm watching NH. If Hillary wins by 3-4%, then the polling assumptions are largely correct. If Trump wins NH, then the polls are off by 3-4 points. NH polls close at 7pm and they have a history of rapidly reporting results. If Trump wins NH, he will likely win the election.

For Drumph it comes down to Florida. Without Florida, he has no path to 270. Clinton can lose Florida and still have half a dozen paths to 270.

Already multiple reports of machines flipping votes from Trump to Hillary here in PA. Why am I not surprised?

Those machines should be outlawed. Hard ballots with people from both sides counting them in every precinct. There were also rumors of electronic voter fraud in Ohio in 2004 when Bush beat Kerry. The manufacturer of the Dieboldt voting machines was a big Bush supporter. These machines were easily hacked.

The article only discusses 50 states. However, I remember discussing Mr Obama discussing campaigning in 57 in a previous election which I believe are the mystery states.
