Do they really? I've never heard that. Tibetan monks are carnivorous, a relaxation of traditional vegetarian Buddhism necessitated by the harsh climate.

In any case, the Thais are Therevedas and it seems that that sort of Buddhism is especially degenerate these days.

 

Yes... I have heard that the Tibetans really do try to live by their beliefs......
but of course there are exceptions to every rule......
then again the ferocity of the tortures that Chinese guards have used on Tibetan monks... and nuns....
can be pretty convincing when it comes to making people compromise on their beliefs.

 

Since Mr. Donald Trump wants to stop TPP..... well informed Animal Activists would vote for Mr. Trump because his policy will save the lives of animals....... and save them a great deal of suffering as well.

I agree with you that we should be more worried about the injustice that is being done to the Falun Gong of China
more so than for those tigers but........ there is a segment of the population that is unlikely to say or do anything for the Falun Gong or for
Christians in China who are being persecuted who will become active to save those tigers........
and their efforts for the tigers..... could well end up benefiting the Falun Gong or other minorities in China who are being
persecuted.

The only way that the the number of animals would be saved is if less animals were being eaten, and I very much doubt that Americans will eat less meat because of his policy. Though, the consequence of his policy (the policy which will turn out to be another lie), is that the cost of meat will become so high that the average American would not be afford to eat as much. I would be interested in what McDonalds think of his policy given the vast areas of the Amazon being cleared for beef production for McDonalds - will he try and make concessions for a mulit-national company which I presume is against US trade rules.

 

That is a good point. Many people in the UK think that WW 2 started in 1939, however The Spanish civil war was in 1936 and involved many European countries, Japan involved in expansion in the far east was occurring in 1930's and earlier.

So, going by those events, WW 3 has already started

If you really want to save Falun Gong members.... or Christians in China......
propose some sort of film projects... where you supposedly attempt to save tigers......
and the probability of actually saving Falun Gong members and Christians increases greatly!
