I see on CNN right now, and I just want to say, Protesting Trump after his win is pathetic, what the heck are they doing, too late, there is no point, give the man a chance

I just started a thread on the current events page. I have no idea what they're protesting, and I guarantee 95% of them don't either. Just a bunch of unemployed college kids that really believe they're 'changing the world'.

 

Payback is rough- the birther and TEA Party protests began immediately after Obama was elected.

 

Was the Tea Party marching through the streets, chanting for the death of Obama, torching cars, etc? If so, can you post a link. Thanks

 

I thought that was just as ridiculous.... people need to always give their new President a chance..... this is just poor sportsmanship

Yes there were thousands of birthers marching in the streets both times Obama got elected

 

some are saying they were anti-trump and anti-Clinton, if so, they only have themselves to blame, those were the only two to choose from, the others were just throwing away ones vote and letting others decide

either way they need to grow up and learn to lose gracefully

Actually we don't know, I saw a reporter try to ask some of the protestors and either he got a mouthful of expletives or silence no ne could say what they hoped the protest was going to win them.

The entire GOP conspired to obstruct and sabotage his presidency even before his first inauguration. Trumps despicable birther movement was the icing on the cake. Trump was relentless in his attempt to delegitimize Obama as POTUS. Karma is a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

They've decided that they hate the electoral college system. I think we're going to hear a lot of bleating about it going forward.

 

Some of these people were protesting downtown where I live on the university campus and I asked eight of them if they voted, five said no, to which I replied they should then shut the up they are the problem not Trump if just two of them voted for Hillary proportionally to the non-voters across the nation she would have been elected most likely.

 

Yeah, it's a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), as people getting really tired of these little snowflakes is part of the reason your dun bass candidate got rejected. Keep it up.

 

If it gets them to universally agree on voting reform, that's a GREAT step forward. This defeat for them might lead to more great things than I thought.

 

Oh they are all over here already. They actually think that if you add up all the 50 state tally's nad DC's those results would be the exact same as if we all voted in the same election.
