CA, NV, and MA all went for Hillary. Maybe Hillary should have made sure that pot initiatives were on the ballot of all swing states.

great news, time to end the prohibition of marijuana

Obama should take it off the Scheduled list of drugs before he leaves office, otherwise Trump will get to take credit for ending the prohibition.....

take those easy low hanging fruits when you get them ;)

maybe, I think Trump supports legalization or more to the point, a states right to choose, but not sure if he will run things or his appointments

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...zation-could-look-like-under-president-trump/

"But jubilation over marijuana's ballot wins was quickly tempered by the uncertain future marijuana faces under a Trump Justice Department. “The prospect of Donald Trump as our next president concerns me deeply,” Ethan Nadelmann, executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, said in a statement. “His most likely appointees to senior law enforcement positions — Rudy Giuliani and Chris Christie — are no friends of marijuana reform, nor is his vice president.”"

Actually, yes, or at least requiring people to obtain a license to drink.

Maybe you think it's cool that children are malnourished because their parents are stoned/drunk.

Maybe it would be better to require people obtaining a license to have children instead?

I don't have children, so should I be held responsible for what irresponsible parents do? What if they gamble their child's education fund away? Make poor investments? Feed their kids unhealthy fast food and soda?

Should I have to obtain a license for gambling, fast food, caffeine and playing the stock market?

Of course not, they're still going to keep selling heroine and cocaine, but this is indeed a major blow to them.

    That would pose Constitutional issues.

You already are, and you're subsidizing it.

That's their prerogative, provided I'm not subsidizing it.

Those aren't bad ideas. People on Welfare/Public Assistance should not be allowed to gamble, use drugs or alcohol or tobacco and many other things.

All they have to do now is slap the death penalty on those who kill while driving impaired or intoxicated and then we'll have something useful.

If you can't roll a joint, you're not old enough to smoke pot.

My kid is nourished just fine, but keep on spreading your propaganda. It is quite humorous to read.

Big stoner here. This is unexpectedly one of the most true to your roots things to happen so far this century. The left suddenly sees the benefit of local autonomy and states' rights! Kentucky can have its prohibition, California can have legal bud. More people get what they want.

One size does not fit all.
