Upon defeating John McCain, the first Republican nominee to actually endorse his opponent, President Elect Barack Obama made it clear that HE was now in charge and would rule lead the United States as he saw fit. Of course, Republicans offered an unqualified promise of support to the Obama Regime, wherever the agenda of The One might lead.

What a difference a day makes.

“I genuinely do not understand[http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...p-surge-how-can-america-be-this-hateful.html] how America can be this disorganized or this hateful,” said the Daily Show’s Trevor Noah[http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...ent-donald-trump-election-2016-a7406871.html]. “This is it, the end of the presidential race and feels like the end of the world. It's, I'm not gonna lie, I don't know if you've come to the right place for jokes tonight.” So where is the outstretched hand, the offer of support and the congratulatory, “Well done” for Donald Trump and the Trump campaign?

And how did Cokie Roberts[http://www.breitbart.com/video/2016...entiment-about-not-having-a-woman-president/] characterize the Trump victory? “[T]here probably is a strong sentiment about not having a woman president.” “The fact that we’re seeing this, particularly among non-college-educated white men is not surprising.” Right on, Cokie. Goodness knows her defeat had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton being a self-serving, self-infatuated thug; arguably the most corrupt individual ever to seek election to the Oval office. Therefore, her loss can only be explained as the work of a bunch of ignorant, sexist white guys. The bastards!

“How will we stand up to Donald Trump,”[http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...will-stand-up-to-president-donald-trump.html] asks John Avlon of the far-left website, The Daily Beast. “We will count ourselves members of the loyal opposition—loyal to the United States of America and opposed to the policies proposed by the president-elect during his campaign,” said Avlon. Loyal to the United States; to her laws and Constitution? Now that would be one hell of a change in the behavior of the left. Sorry Mr. Avlon, but I don’t buy it.

Throwing around rhetoric of “hate & bullying”. How’s that working out for Progressives now? Sore losing Progressive Democrats pour out their contempt for the American voter. Oh, if we could only be as smart and wise as they are, what a wonderful world that would be.
Non-college-educated white men voters. Remember when we used to call these vocations or trades? These were tradesmen, the people who fixed your car, your air conditioner, or your toilet. Now they are considered everything that's wrong with the country? "Progressive Socialists" are mad because those "non-college-educated white men" weren't subjected to the brain washing college kids were.

Alexander Hamilton poured out his contempt for the American voters, when he devised a system where the smaller a state's population, the more their votes are worth. A Constitutional amendment to overturn that will never happen, because that power will never be dislodged.

We're doomed to be a hick town nation.

    Funny how CNN... yeah... C...N...N...

...is predicting that Trump will win the popular vote, together with the emergent LANDSLIDE in the electoral college. Looks like Trump is gonna win both. What happens to your patently BOGUS talking point then?

The Electoral College assures candidates have to pay attention to all of America. Otherwise they would just fly back and forth between NY and LA.

They never anticipated a nation with the great differences in population between say California today and Wyoming. Also, they envisioned a nation of states, not a nation of individuals. Being a citizen of a state was more important than being the citizen of the United States.

Also, the only time the EC has actually produced a different result than the popular vote is when the difference in vote was less than a percent--i.e. a virtual tie.

I've now been through enough elections to know this type of thing is done by both sides when it's their turn to lose. And just like the elections themselves, it's become increasingly more bitter since the Clinton years. Lets not forget that before Obama even took office, the Republican leadership had all but set in stone their desire and plan to obstruct everything. The spirit of "working together" never existed beyond lip service, meaning the gestures were fake and meaningless.

I don't bring that up as a "well they did it too so it's okay" thing. Rather, I bring it up to remind folks not to jumpstart the same process by forgetting all the times your side of things acted in similar ways. These past eight years of Obama from the right were as bad as the eight years of Bush were from the left.

Really? That's the last thing the Left is holding on to from this election. Can you please post a link on this.

I didn't get past the part that I put in bold italics before I started laughing so hard that I spit Dr. Pepper all over my monitor! I can't help but wonder, just what universe do you inhabit?

Also what's enraging them is that a surprisingly significant number of Hispanics, Blacks and women of all ethnicity voted for Trump AGAINST Hillary Clinton. Now that has got leftist panties in a real bind.

The last time I checked the U.S.A. was the most powerful and influential nation in the history of humanity; and that's even despite Barack Obama having tried like hell to torpedo that for the last eight years.
