Republicans...the press smelled blood in the water w/r to Christie and like a pack of bloodthirsty zombies set upon this poor man. All he did was back trump, amid tremendous risk to his political career and better judgement. He should have been celebrating with the likes of Melania and the trump kids otherwise known as Miles Davis favorite musical instrument: The Trumpets...

But no. Priebus, Kushner, and the vile press have ruined Christie. How did this come to pass? Is Kushner that vindictive and Trump that oblivious?

    WHAT HAPPENED?

He stocked the transition team with lobbyists and hacks. So Trump sent him packing. Don't worry, I'm sure he will be an ambassador to either a European or Pacific Rim country. He just wont get to make any real impact.

    I'm leaning toward this answer.

But if this is the case.

Why would the Kushner's have allowed Trump to associate with Christie leading up to the election? Was it to make the ousting process even more hurtful?

I never was a big fan of Christie's but was surprised when he got canned because of so-called Bridgegate. I'm waiting for the Lifetime channel bio to come out before I make up my mind.

No, I don't believe it was to make the "ousting process" even more hurtful - I think two things happened: 1) Trump won the election and I don't believe they thought they would 2) The guilty verdict in NJ on Bridgegate - there will be collateral damage and who needs the hassle. Personally I think it's just #1, they won and young Kurshner wants no part of Christie going forward, by extension the Donald would be persuaded by Ivanka. Young Kushner is by all accounts a bright young man.

Christie is an abrasive personality with a penchant for wearing out his welcome in relativity short order. You simply don't need that when you're team building. Oh and Christie risked almost nothing by supporting Trump His career beyond Jersey was already DOA.

It was not the press that ruined Christie! It was Christie and Kushner who extracted revenge upon Christie for Christie putting Kushner,s dad into prison.

Christie was also harmed by his win oeople who concocted Bridgegate.

The press did not harm Christie that just reported as Christie, his staff, and Kushner harmed him.

    It was revenge of thecKushner,'s....

    I liked Christie.

He served up the most piercing moment of the debates..."See that's what I'm talking about. He's doing it again. He is reciting a memorized speech folks.''

That moment should have cemented a lead for him. For some odd reason, it fell flat. But that moment, my goodness that was something else. He has a lot of talent.
