She has also come under fire for skirting federal elections rules with a shady fundraising gimmick and made hundreds of thousands of dollars by selling her endorsement to other politicians and political causes for as much as $45,000 a pop. She has also made several trips to Cuba to visit her convicted cop-assassin friend, Black Panther Assata Shakur. Who was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted by a jury of the 1979 murder of a New Jersey State Trooper What appalls me is that the low lifes of her district keep electing her and that Pelosi helped her become teh democrats top representative on the Financial Services Committee. Maxine Waters is the embodiment of "the swap" that Trump refers to. In fact shes not just the swap, shes the rotting waste of decay and fecal matter that has settled on the bottom. This is precisely the type of person who makes government bad and makes the Democratic party nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. Shes a corrupt, anti-American, racist - things the Democrats claim they aren't yet in over 20 years they haven't tried to get rid of her. I have no doubt she is appalled. Appalled by the fact that our economy has managed to survive the reign of Obama. Appalled by the fact that investors and business owners can see the light ahead. Appalled by the fact that President Trump is going to bring growth that Obama tried to halt. Appalled by the fact that as the economy grows stronger fewer people will need to latch themselves to the Democrat handout feed trough; bye bye votes.
The title is completely misleading. It's not the OP's fault but included in the OP is this: So she said she was "appalled by the reaction" not the rally. And why is she appalled? Just take a look at the repealing of Glass-Steagall Act and the economic turmoil that ramified from that.

That's a fair point, but every time someone criticizes the president's economy, the Dow is one of the answers. I'm all for the argument that growth on paper isn't growth, but this isn't a consistent position for Maxine Waters.

if you don't know what a linking verb is then yes you should. There is a huge difference between a making a typo and leaving off half a sentence to try and distort. I write like I speak which is W Va hillbilly and have certainly have no degree in English. However I can still parse a sentence, just like I was taught in 3rd or 4th grade over 50 years ago. Normally on boards I ignore grammar and spelling mistakes but since you butchered the sentence to try and make a false point I felt the need to correct
