No...In fact America SELLS it's debt. The difference is the AMOUNT of debt America owes and whether or not it can pay it back. With $20 trillion in debt the outlook for a payback anytime soon makes Treasuries a bad investment right now.

Right now, low interest rates and cheap goods is the only reason Americans can make it because of past bad, liberal, economic policies such as creating 'liar loans', allowing China to flood our Market with cheap goods and thwarting American manufacturing by instituting bad liberal EPA policies and levying draconian taxation on job-creating corporations.

It was Ross Perot back in 1992 who warned America what would happen if NAFTA became law, Americans would be hearing that big sucking sound of jobs being sucked out of America. Ross Perot was 100% right.
