It is almost becoming an embarrassment to be a US citizen anymore. The idiots in our government are clearly in control.

What's the point here...you're singling out ukies nationalists...right..right...maybe you should look at NKVD/ Cheka crimes of yagoda, Beria, kaganovich, etc and such like before posting articles such as this...but I keep forgetting those crimes mean little to people like you...

I hope the fact that Trump will be able to pursue a policy in the interests of ordinary Americans, but not in the interests of international corporations.

This friction with Russia has to do with the globalist intents of a Soros influenced Washington ...which hopefully Trump will have the strength to combat. That's why I backed him from the start.

Washington knows that 30% of all the natural resources in the world are in Russia, and in order to form their one world government under American hegemony, they have to be controlled by American corporations. This is why they were furious with Putin when he kicked out the Russian oligarchs under Washington's control.

You're talking about the Jews-Zionists yagoda and Kaganovich? They were punished for their crimes. For example yagoda was shot in 1937. As with other criminals in the USSR. The verdict of the court. About the crimes Beria I have not heard.
I know that the decree №1 signed by Beria - the prohibition of torture.
Also I know that Beria did two large amnesty for prisoners. He organized a review of cases of prisoners and released more than 300 thousand in 1939 in the first amnesty. As well as punishing the Jews-Zionist, who falsified the cases.

German TV showed the message of the Russian President. According to with the telephone voting - "Can I trust Putin?".
After an hour of voting was stopped, and the results it was removed from the screen because of Vladimir Putin's support in 80%.

That's because we do live in the best country. :)

Honestly, we're too preoccupied with our own lives to care where other people dream of living.

I know. My observation is based on experience, not thought. :)

Most people are fond of their own countries and Americans are no different.

Don't you think you live in the best country?

    You didn't answer my question.

By the way, our comedians and our freedom of speech are two of the things that make our country the best. If George Carlin spoke like that in your country he'd get shot. ;)

The freedom that we had....(George Carlin).
Russia have more freedom. On our talk shows present a lot of journalists from many countries. They say what they want. They say so many the lie and bad things about Russia but the government gives the chance to tell everyone. Freedom of speech in the USA is a new joke. I followed the election campaign and your media is a ugly parody of journalism.

The US may not be the best country in the world, but they gave us Mr T, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash. Also Vladimir Nabokov's best work written in the US. What has Russia done?

This is being done on purpose to rile up Russia and lead the US to a confrontation right as Trump is taking office. I don't think it will work, though. I'm sure both Trump and Putin are on the phone discussing how this latest bout of craziness will be dismantled next January.

Have. George Carlin and other comedians still enjoy the freedom to express themselves.

    Sure ya do...

I agree that our "legacy" MSM is a joke - I have a thread in the Opinions section that discusses what passes for "journalism" at media outlets such as The New York Times, but I can honestly say they're no worse than the Kremlin's state-owned propaganda bullhorns, which are carrying on the fine "journalistic" tradition of Pravda and its ilk.

I hope so too, but so far his cabinet appointments are not encouraging in that regard.
